I KNEW you'd love Miami YRBB!

This week's episode didn't pack a whole lot of punch, but THANK YOU Lea Black for clarifying that Adriana didn't just get a marriage license, she GOT MARRIED! A month later! I KNEW something stunk about that BS marriage license story Adriana was trying to sell.

And no, I don't think Lea was the one who went to the press about Adriana. IMO, once her "wedding" was announced (after Joanna's, natch), someone dug that shizz up. Adriana did her best to make my Lea look bad, but came off looking like a fool and a liar.

I haven't watched episode two, but I am sad because Adriana has always been my favorite. I don't like that she's getting caught in these stupid ass lies. She could've easily moved on. There is no shame in her being married anyway. She should've owned it and move on. Make it a non story similar to how Marlo and Nene made their "beef" a non issue. Don't give into the producers storylines so easily. This could've been a banner year for Adriana, but I fear it'll end with a pile up.

Yeah, I was expecting to majorly hate on Lea this season but so far Adriana is looking the fool and Lea is looking like the injured party and the only sane person around.

Having said that, Adriana is so enjoyable to watch in many ways. I can't take my eyes off her.

The reason Miami is working is because there is history between most of the housewives that pre-date the show. I wish that the housewife shows would make more effort to cast new housewives with long-term ties to the current cast.

I don't understand why the girls were so upset when Gretchen didn't invite them to her engagement party. I mean at the time Tamra was starting to turn on her, Alexis was calling her a bully, and Heather was calling her a liar for that stupid Mailbu Country thing. She never got along with Viki and she didn't know Lydia that well. I wouldn't have invited them either! It would have been funny if she only invited Lauri! that would have pissed them off more, especially Viki.

I don't think they were upset they weren't invited. The person who commented about the women not being invited was Heather and she didn't come across upset at all. She questioned the sincerity of the party and the timing of it all. Tamra, I guess felt Gretchen should have called her up before it went down bc they were still friends and hadn't separated yet. Lydia, Alexis and Vicki didn't say anything about not being invited.

Argh!!!! I heard NYC Season 1 had re-aired after I left the house so I couldn't TiVo it. I have yet to see that reunion. Isn't it in a rinky-dink location?

Re-watched Season 1 of ATL. It's funny seeing Sheree's delusional self in all her glory. Broke ass!

I miss Dwight. He is 10x more tolerable than Lawrence and Derek.

I was over Derek when I saw him wearing some lace see through blouse with his man boobs out in all their glory. Dont even get me started on the hot dogs on the back of his neck. Ewww

    • Thanks so much @SoapDope78 Wow-the first week of 1 hr shows and Gloria Monty's tenure. It's been reported that she scrapped the first few shows that had already been taped in the hour format, but like so many stories from the good ol' days that might be a myth. Nothing about what we saw there suggests any noticeable changes in direction or production.

I enjoyed their individual scenes with other characters before they all came together at the Pub to commiserate over their relationships with Sami. I thought that was broken down pretty well. I just wish it had gone on a little longer. And I actually found it kinda funny too lol it seemed more mature than what we're used to. That's the kind of humor that should be on a soap. But I'm not really sure about all this talk of Dante Vitali and Sami's engagement though, especially since it doesn't look like Ali Sweeney is coming back anytime soon. What's the point of it all if we're (probably) not going to see it? It also looked like today was the first round of Brady vs. Xander as well lol I enjoyed their fight, and I'm interested in seeing this storyline play out. Even though I'm sure that Sarah will ultimately go back to Xander in the end, I'd like to see what happens along the way, and how they and everyone around them are affected by this. Btw, Theo and Jada? Idk. I still think he had the most chemistry with Arianna. And he was a bit of a dick too. It also seemed a little out of character for Jada to be so OK with him being such a dick  And though Alex and Stephanie were very boring again and need much better conflict than this book stuff, I am interested in the mystery of who's targeting Alex.  And yeah, I know this is a nitpick, but why is the Square still open after the gala? Isn't it supposed to be really late at night?
    • In fairness, Hillary and Bob Woods were thick as thieves again at least by the end of OLTL. But both she and I believe Mark Derwin not so subtly dissed Kale Browne in the oral history, lol.

    • Frat Boy Jr.'s reaction to seeing Luna was just awful acting. It was so bad that I started laughing.

Does anyone have screenshots of it?
    • Geez, I hadn't heard that Doctors story. HBS really did go through it.
    • No offense to the actors involved, but dear God in heaven: I don't know HOW viewers managed to get through that storyline with Maggie, Frank, Cal and baby Jill without running into oncoming traffic.  Then, to make matters worse, they dragged poor Diana into the mess!  I don't care WHO gets that damn baby!  Just wrap it up and move ON already!
    • Poor HBS.  To have to put up with Stephen Burleigh, who stuck his knee between her legs while rehearsing a love scene on THE DOCTORS, then told the director that's what he did with his wife; Kincaid, who had more hair on his chest and upper lip than Koko the Gorilla; Kale Browne, who taped his lines all over the OLTL studio floor, because he couldn't ever be bothered to [!@#$%^&*] memorize them; and Robert S. Woods, who apparently thought it was still 1979 and that he was still smolderingly sexy, so why should Bo Buchanan be stuck being in a happy marriage with Nora?  After all that, no wonder she jumped at the chance to play a lesbian on VENICE, lol.
