Yeeeeah, I would have put Erin in a first chair over Brynn. She is actually giving us story versus Brynn who is making up story. I can agree with Ubah only because she has been the target this season.

That said...we still haven't gotten to the full fallout which would probably explain why Brynn got the first chair in the first place.

SLC

A solid start to the cast trip.

Lisa vs Bob. I knew it was coming for Bob to fall in with Angie K, Whitney, and Mary as friends, but seeing it unfold. It echoes so much the issues that Lisa and Angie K were having at the beginning of the season. Which is probably why when Bob was gathering Lisa at the dinner table, Angie K was sooo co-signing with her nods and looks. She's been there, done that. Lisa just is not a good friend because if your friend felt slighted, it's easy to smooth that over with an apology. Instead of explaining the room assignments like she did earlier in the confessional, she wanted to explode and be HBIC in her glass house...which Bob easily shattered. smh.

And the other standout so far from the trip was Angie K. She was already doing great due to her great scene with Mary earlier in the episode. But her at that dinner table. From fighting with Meredith to fighting with Britini (yes, I'm using her name

) was funny. And it was good to see Meredith and Angie K reach a truce...again. But WHO put that bag in the chair? Just asking. LOL!!!

LISA. I would think that when your friends keep mentioning how you yourself treat them, a person would do some self-reflection. Not Lisa. smh. The sad thing was that if she had only explained her way of thinking to Bob, I felt Bob would have understood. So since she refused, I didn't mind Bob gathering her all the way together. She even got strays.

HEATHER. Irrelevant. And she tried. Inserting herself in between Lisa vs Bob. Ignored.

MEREDITH. How petty of her to bring that gift to have it put in the chair to start mess with Angie K. And then Angie K threw it at Slutty Hair Brit...lol. But seriously, Meredith is at least working that feud with Angie K this episode. I'm just not sure if she will be able to let it go.

WHITNEY. She got one good moment in there. Which is more than Heather so #winning.

BOB. I was ready to be over her given how she's been acting the last several episodes. And she did not start off well at all this episode. But Lisa's refusal to give an apology irked me. And what irked me even more was the fact that Production cut out part of Bob's daughter storyline and a scene between Bob and Lisa that would have gone a loooong way to explaining why Bob was feeling a way on this trip. I didn't like that at all. I loved she was gathering Lisa though. Turned her every which way, but loose. Oh...and her being attacked by a dog before the trip was wild.

ANGIE K. Was all aces this episode with me. Her and Sean and how shady he is toward Meredith was hilarious. Her being a good friend to Mary who finally opened up. A good choice given Angie K has similar family experience and could empathize. And then her at the dinner table...lol. She still has a way to go, but she can take on several people at once and she can READ. GROWTH.

MARY. Awwww. That was so real. I was crying all over again watching Mary open up on camera. AND to another Housewife. Angie K was a good choice. A friend who took it in, can do discretion, and showed such empathy. Mary expressing how she was feeling and failing her son was just...heartbreaking. And to think...she provided such a funny moment right before that confession by walking into Angie K's house without her knowing? just hehe. No wonder she got an article in Vanity Fair today.

A good start to the trip. And next week...MARY.

Karen is going to jail. She should have taken a plea deal and pled guilty. They are going to want her to pay for wasting the court's time

and thats why Shannon didnt want John's alleged ring cam video released bc once thats out there to the public, you cant take it back. Karen looks HORRIBLE!

Oh, yes, I've been down an online hole on it as I'm formatting and watching a movie. The backlash she's getting for those videos. I'm speechless and shocked. I don't even want to post them here. And I can't even watch the Thomas Jefferson one.  But yes, she looks horrible.

AND the reunion has not filmed. And I guess we know it will definitely film before her sentencing on January 29th. They are going to tear her apart.

I think she was either poorly advised or ignored good advice. Those videos are plain and obvious that she was totally wasted. There was no way she was going to win in Court. If a picture speaks a thousand words, a video screams a million words.

She definitely should have cut a deal and plead guilty. Apparently the jury took a long time and was deadlocked and had to seek direction from the judge.

Karen needs to accept this and be contrite.

    • As much as I have hyped the looks on this show, those dresses did not impress today. Since the premeire, there's only been one look that I can truly say IMO didn't work (and it honestly wasn't even that bad). It was an outfit Dani wore. These flowly wide leg trousers and it was paired with a loose top with a cowl neck. However, I didn't LOVE a single dress on any of the ladies today. Kat's was great only because it suits the character and her personality - so an A for that. It's a good dress. Dana's was also really nice. Everyone else either just was meh, had something unflattering about the fit, or didn't really fit the vibe.  Also, this isn't BTG's fault. It's just the state of soap operas today, but that event felt empty. Tables of 3

I mean it was nice that they had some extras on there, but it definitely didn't feel like an event when the family was pretty much ever table there.  That was a nice end to the episode and I wonder how this is going to unfold.
    • I was looking at the AWHP synopses from the period where Quinn had a stalker in 1984 and it refers to pranks and phone calls. Does anybody remember what the pranks were? Or were they just disturbing phone calls?
    • Same. Things were really coming together the last moment of the show. I wish we had more time with it.
    • Exactly when did Ada's kitchen become the "centerpiece of the action"? And which set was the centerpiece of the action before that???    Another World premiered in 1963, and Ada didn't even arrive until 1967.  And then, Ada and Rachel lived in a small apartment.  A couple of years later, Ada married Ernie Downs and moved into his house. So the kitchen so identified with Ada, was actually in the house Ada inherited from her husband Ernie after he died.   I'd suggest Ada's kitchen did not become the centerpiece of the action (if it ever was) until around the time Mary Matthews died, and Rachel began her romance with her second millionaire husband, MacKenzie Cory.  Others might disagree, but that doesn't offend me in the least.
    • The last scene of the final episode did show that life on Wisteria Lane would continue on once the toxic housewives moved away. It won't be as good as the original, but I'm intrigued to see what these new people do with the concept.
    • This underscores the biggest issue that the show needs to work on.   The majority of the characters on the show are all related to one another, which is why we have that B&B esque Dani/Andre hook up situation

    • It was a good episode. I didn't expect things to unravel so soon.   One thing I still don't like about these big events: Where was everyone else?   This is a big event. Everyone should've been there.
    • Mitch, thanks for that history of the Reardon Boarding House kitchen.  I had always assumed that every time the kitchen set returned, it was a recreation of the original set.  So I have been wrong about that.   Was the kitchen set ever used later, while Buzz and the Coopers owned the boarding house?
    • color me shocked.
