I think its absolutely disgusting how Marlo is using her dead nephew for a storyline, retraumatizing her family in the process. There is a special place in hell for her for what she is doing. This is a new low

In RHOP news, its been announced that Monique filed for divorce from Chris. Im not surpised bc they havent posted each other in months and he's been losing alot of weight as he looks for his next wife. I wonder if she will return to Love and Marriage DC or even RHOP bc one of the reasons why she cited walking away from reality tv was to save her marriage as it wasnt worth it. Well she is ending up getting divorced anyway and there is nothing like making your own income. Im sure the radio gig isnt enough to afford her the lifestyle she wants and I dont see her making bank in this divorce

I remember they called the story about their breakup from last year fake news, but I guess they couldn’t hash it out. I know Chris’s mom is somewhere dancing a jig.

Usually in these cases the realtor sends out a press release as part of the terms of sale, so Mr. and Mrs. Cantin would have had to consent, thus any interpretation of her hatred of publicity may be overwrought.

I don't know their story beyond Season 5 of RHOP so I don't know what other gossip or ups and downs they've been through, but they always had a solid standing together it seemed.

Of all the people who deserve a fat payout like that, Larsa was not top of my list!

She obviously has an ace lawyer and dedicated years to tending to Scottie Pippen, so yay for her I guess? You know she'll be throwing it in everybody's faces at reunion.

RHOC:

Shannon at the Crystal store is why I'll never not like her.  Me thinks the editors did the fire and water scene as a foreshadowing of the end of their relationship.  Her look when Tamra was talking to her was realistic...because no way I'd be anxious to hug her.

Heather is insecure...and when she's insecure... she becomes condescending.  Her daughter Max is just like her.  I will give her a point for  Def con analogy with Tamra.

We all know nothing makes Tamra more insecure than a OC blonde..and Jen is that.  I do sense some spunk and backbone with Jen...so it won't be like Gretchen or Alexis.

And Gina should really be a bit less judgy with her DUI and allegedly doing something physical to her boyfriend.

I did like the family scenes

Poor Guerdy. I hope she's OK and doing well with her treatment. A day after she collapsed, RHOM fans spotted the cast out for Adriana's event, and Guerdy was there. Hopefully it was just the heat that got to her the day before.

The RHOM went to a cathedral in the city yesterday, and approached the altar in what appears to have been an understandably emotional moment for Kiki, Julia, Guerdy in particular.

RHOC

Newbie Jenn's story of her affair, but then backpedalling to imply it somehow wasn't physical, was a classic newbie mistake which will cost her dear. Tamra has been itching to discuss this affair on-screen, and all the other women hopped onto the story which will now be a main topic for much of the season. Gina definitely wants to ride Jenn's affair for her own SL so she's leaned into some good old-fashioned performative outrage.

Taylor and Heather doing that Hallmark movies script-read was hilarious but they were also kind of good? It's amazing to me that Taylor has a deep-cable acting career no-one has ever heard of. And Heather is deeply miffed about it.

Shannon does not trust Tamra further than she can throw her.

RHOA

Marlo is twisting the story of her nephew so that it somehow involves Kandi? That is weird and she'sdoing too much. Marlo is the producers plaything, and I think they want Marlo to segue into the recent incident at OLG, the one Kandi and Todd refused to talk about in episode 1.

Sanya thinks she can play both sides, have her cake and eat it, too. She can't. Even the notoriously slippery Phaedra Parks couldn't do that. Anyway, in Kenya's eyes, she is now the weak link, and she'll be coming after Sanya.

40-something Drew gyrating and trying to launch a singing career.

I shouldn't enjoy watching what is inevitably going to flop, but I do.

    • I loved today's episode....shocker LOL Dani & Andre were so cute and adorable. Vernon trying to cover his tracks with Anita, while holding his own with Leslie. And the pièce de résistance, Eva & Kat. Soooooo goood!!!
    • According to the newspaper columnists at the time of Mark Dante's return, Gerald Gordon had been a favorite of Fred Silverman, who left ABC for NBC and took Gordon with him. Silverman supposedly put him on a contract with NBC. Gordon return to "General Hospital" occurred after Silverman left NBC so Gordon may have been in need of work and he may have left Monty on good terms. His pairing seems very C-story at best based on synopses but maybe there was more to it.
    • I am truly at a loss for words about today's episode. I have no clue what they are trying to do or where this Luna story is going. I was literally dumbfounded.
    • I'm inclined to agree with you and I loved her at Santa Barbara.
    • I haven't watched DAYS in years, so I have some questions for anyone who can answer them. Is the show actually acknowledging that Jeremy abused Stephanie?  The things he did to her back in 2007 were reprehensible.  I wasn't watching too much when that was happening, but I seem to remember that the show (at the time) didn't outright label him an abusive partner and instead acted like he was just badly behaved or something like that.  Could someone who was watching back then tell me how they remember it?
    • It also strangely happened while the story was airing. You had a gothic and spooky story that because it got eyeballs ended up being dragged out and turned into camp. Marlena starts talking to herself constantly with that voice, she’s strapped to the bed for a never ending exorcism, would almost die multiple times during the process, and then everyone would just leave her there with Caroline Brady sitting next to her holding a rosary. Reilly had the show so segregated that when Carrie found out what was happening in practically her next scene she was like I’m praying for Marlena. Now what are we going to do about Sami? I don’t know about anyone else, but I would probably stop my storyline for at least a couple of episodes and have to go see my stepmother that had a huge part in raising me floating around with those eyes in her beautiful penthouse. It was just so stupid, and when it started I didn’t necessarily agree with the story being told, but at least it was taken seriously.
    • Yes, I feel the same way. I get the reasoning behind hiring him. He was playing a very similar character on RH, and they were in a pinch. I also found his accent very distracting. But then, Bev also didn't sound like she was from Illinois, and it didn't bother me a bit. That said, I've always had a great deal of sympathy for the situation he was in. It's never easy to take over from someone popular with fans, and how the TPTB were always insisting he was coming back eventually was another issue. Hearing he was going through it in his personal life on top of that makes me even more sympathetic. I found the article where it mentioned he had worked on both soaps at the same time. This was written a while after he left the show. Interesting that he was open to returning and that fans were asking him about when Alan was going to get out of jail. To this day, I don't understand why they kept Alan off the canvas as long as they did. He should have been there in the thick of Roger's return (without the dumb attempt to kill him), especially while he was married to Alex. To me, Raines was lacking in a lot of qualities needed for Alan. I think he would have been a better Mike Bauer.  They took five years to bring Alan back. They could have found someone better. No one is irreplaceable. Anyone who took over the role would have been different from Bernau. But somewhere out there was an actor who would have had the suaveness, intensity, and charm that IMO the character needed.

    • I did feel like JFP's Y&R was decent. Of all the recent HW/EP swaps, her period was very safe but watchable. Nothing spectacular but better than what we have now.
    • I don’t watch B&B but I did know about Heather and forgot her. I really don’t know anything about Lawrence. Do people like his scripts?   Yes she did! And I know she did double duty too, even if Bell slowly phased Julia out while she wrote for the show.
