IMO the Kandi-Phaedra feud was ended too soon, and I never really got closure from it. Obviously Phaedra was 'leaking' allegations against Kandi that were aimed at destroying her reputation. This was in revenge for Kandi-Todd choosing Apollo over Kandi's friendship with Phaedra. Kandi and Todd really were obvious in the way they tried to discredit Phaedra. Kandi 'accidentally' met up with Apollo's side-piece in S9 on-camera. I always felt like Kandi is so shady in setting up meetings with all these mistresses and then pretending it was a total accident and she never laid eyes on them before. She also has Don Juan and Carmon do a lot of her dirty work.

To be clear: I think Phaedra is a con artiste and up to her neck in whatever fraud it was that got Apollo sent to prison. Nevertheless, I also understand the human emotion that was behind her seeking revenge on Kandi, who had once been her true-blue BFF.

The other piece of the puzzle was that Phaedra allegedly got the lie about Kandi wanting to drug and rape Porsha from RHOA EP Carlos King, and that is why Carlos King's employment got terminated after that season. Both Kandi and Nene insisted he must go.

S9 reunion was a four-parter and so crazy and messy that a lot of these details got swept under the carpet. The end felt totally rushed, and Bravo quickly chose to save Porsha and jettison Phaedra (Porsha supposedly had a Bravo executive benefactor/sugar daddy saving her ass on the show).

In conclusion: there is unfinished business between Phaedra, Kenya, Kandi and Porsha and it would be nice to see it addressed on the show, rather than bringing in a bunch of newbies who have no real connection with the existing cast.

RHOC:

Haven't watched the latest episode yet, not sure Braunwyn should be thrown to the side completely as she is giving us legit messiness at the moment. However, Tamra is so badly needed on this show, it is not even funny. She was a more effective producer than production itself. She was the glue that connected most of these women together. And she didn't care what viewers thought of her, trolled her antis and embraced her villainy.

Well, Shady Phae Phae is a Scorpio, Cat. So they are big on the payback when crossed.

But I don't know if I feel it was ended too soon. It really all started in Season 7 at that dinner where Kenya confronted her about Mr. Chocolate and almost got a purse in the face. That was also the beginning of Freck and Frack since Porsha started planning seeds to drive a wedge between Phaedra and Kandi then...not helped by Kandi and Todd taking Apollo side. Season 8 brought us watching that friendship slowly but surely falling apart and then we had Season 9 where it seem like they were openly at the same time subtly going after each other. That was a relatable and thus organically done arc.

I agree that they have enough unfinished business that it would be interesting to bring Shady Phae Phae back. Perhaps she will appear as a friend by the end of the current season since they are still filming. But I felt that feud ending at the right time because that left people wanting MORE of it.

In any case, I suspect things are about to get messy.

OC

My internet is acting up again so I haven't watched it completely yet but Braunwyn is being messy, but understandable as she struggles with this new her. I do feel Tamra should be around though. It is like a missing piece since she is stirring all of this BTS.

BH

So you hear the rumor from a blogger that Kathy is coming on because she plans to take Ex Soap Star down as payback for how she treated Kim who as we know Kathy is close to.

Someone pointed out that Kathy was getting along with everyone (I hear especially Gacelle) but was not following Ex Soap Star.

I don't like Brownie...she isn't fun nor enjoyable to hate.  She's just draining to watch.

Tamra was a backstabber, but she owned it.  Yet, she was also fun to watch.  Plus, her family scenes humanized her (my late mom remarked when Tamra had her 1st grandchild..she was almost human..not a disciple of Satan).

First of all, I am happy I saw Lizzie as well.

And I don't plan on watching BH next season, but I definitely would watch Kathy going after Ex Soap Star.

POTOMAC

    • Also, isn’t there supposed to be a storyline with Mariah and Tessa? Mariah cheating or something (keeping some kind of secret) and they were only on screen 2 and 3 times this month. Like what? How am I supposed to care when I barely see them?
    • Definitely wouldn't trust Dinah right now haha.  But that's great to know Billy comes back soon!  I'm excited for that. If he's at the boardinghouse, then I guess he does get closer to Nola perhaps, and then he'll be around Peter/Bridget and J, who is currently in his orbit along with Michelle and Dahlia, and Marcus is at the boardinghouse, so maybe they go the teenage story route most of this time until Billy gets back.
    • Sounds like me, but I prefer to be referred to as Contessa. We all know I can go a long time not paying attention to certain things.  And, if I might add, hey there dude, you effed up pretty good this time and I think this was your last chance. So don't let the door hit you in your behind as you go BYE MOMMY!
    • That did cross my mind at first, but I'd be more inclined to believe it if this didn't involve Trump. I'm not at all sure he is capable of being that sneaky. Of course, there's always a possibility I guess that his advisors are doing it without telling him, but that seems awfully risky. Trump is such a loose cannon you can never predict what he's going to do or say.
    • Whoa. She should have fought like hell to get that. Was it the greatest show ever? No, but it had a fantastic cast and was practically guaranteed to last multiple seasons because of its star power. Could have certainly led to bigger and better things. If it had flopped she could have always gone back to soaps. Judith Light broke through on a sitcom where she was basically second banana to Tony Danza. That grew into a very busy and distinguished career. The woman is still regularly booked to this day.
    • I could understand her being frustrated by the fact that she'd been in the business 10+ years at that point, and probably couldn't even get in the door. But then again, she'd already gone out for pilot season once (that we know of) and she and  her agent knew a 35-ish woman had a very difficult time in Hollywood. I know she did a few guest spots, but other than Designing Women, nothing I saw--not even a Murder She Wrote, and that show had tons of ex-soapers on it. I mean, God bless Marilu Henner, but even having been on Taxi, she couldn't get arrested for years either.
    • I didn't rewatch that period, so I'm not really sure how much Bill is on. I recall something about him living at the boardinghouse. I think Van made Matt his guardian, and why she didn't name Josh would be a mystery to me, other than the HW decided they needed to keep Bill in Matt's sphere. Nola is also his aunt, although they don't know each other well, and Van wouldn't have trusted her anyway. There's Dinah---but she's unreliable. Billy gets out of jail around NYE.

    • That's on Kimmer. As someone posted above...she was offered roles in pilots but she would be part of an ensemble or supporting. She didn't want that so she came back to GL. I don't know what she thought would happen..someone offering her "Here's Kimmer!" or The "Zimmer Comedy Powerhouse Hour" variety show..but her housefrau fans did not have the same pull in HW as they did on the soaps. Forbes and Watros knew that you had to take small parts to get noticed ands start a career in primetime. I know she was in consideration for the wife in Evening Shade, but when you go up against Marilou Henner, the soap diva looses. I could see her frustrated in a role like that, where she has to be the understanding wife with a bit of sass, but she could have made it work, if it wasnt for her huge ego.  I think it would have been an issue haveing all the powerhouse comedy actors surrounding...(lets face it..Alice Ghostly woudl have wiped the floor with her...) but it would have been a good launching padd.
