Please Rinna looks like an unhinged pitbull. Kim is harmless and I'm very curious what could Kim possibly have done to enrage Rinna so badly?

Lisa looks absolutely stunned. That can't be pretend acting....and if Brandi is the one who delivers it I hope she's fired.

And Dina was about to bring up that very point, but backtracked (or pretended she lost her train of thought?). Even so, Dina was the winner this round, in all facets. Looking forward to her battle with Amber's dick of a husband.

DF, I agree. If that slap is real and Brandi did it, oooooh, bitca will be dead to me.

And OMG!!! That gif is giving me some life. Brandi, you don met your match in Lisa Rinna. Bow down...or bow the f*uck out.

And if Eileen wanted to get some shades of Kristen on Brandi for the drink toss, I would have NO PROBLEM with that either.

Porsha literally dragggggged Kenya and kept that job. The only reason they fire people from these franchises is for being boring.

I won't judge that slap quite yet ... but the way Brandi is going for Eileen is weak and sort of obnoxious. It reminds me of her looking up Lisa's bankruptcy history on the internet and deciding to plastic sword fight Lisa with it. Gurrl, try hard much?

The difference is that Kenya provoked that.

What could Lisa have done to provoke Brandi to slap her? The truth is that Brandi is just providing all her critics right...she is acting like the classless piece of trash that so many called her during season 2.

The only person who would have been justified in beating Kenya up during that reunion was Kandi. No, I mean Cynthia. Saying Kenya provoked Porsha is like saying a woman deserves to get beat by an abusive husband because she back talks him. Porsha decided she was going to be "entertaining" at that reunion to try to keep her job.

I'm not judging the slap one way or another, yet, IJS Porsha literally dragged a woman across a stage and was not fired for it.

You're entitled to your opinion but Kenya got up in Porsha's face with those stupid props and got exactly what she deserved with that big mouth. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

I do agree Cynthia had every right to drag her across that stage too.

Porsha got up and busy because of Kenya's verbal jabs (and in a desperate last ditch effort to keep her job). That stick whine by Porsha was just an excuse to justify her actions. That stick was only threatening to Cynthia. I do LOL remembering Kandi looking like she was going to whoop Kenya's behind the year before when she was sitting next to her and her tool of choice.

Lisa Rinna is anything but an unhinged pitbull, she is a very together person, very sensitive, but very together.

Kim is far from harmless, she's an alcoholic who has spent fortunes either poured down her throat or (allegedly) up her nose. She's a mess, selfish, stupid and a waste of space.

Listening to the clip, Lisa Rinna says, after hurling her glass fabulously: "Don't you ever go after my f*cking husband!" as Kim slurs "Everyone will know!"

I agree about Lisa Rinna. She seems like a cool chick.

Kim, IMO, was fine last season. I felt she was quirky but drug free. I don't know if the same will be true for this season. What I don't like about Kyle in regards to Kim, at least, is her leeching on any moment to do the "my sister is an addict" thing on screen. That doesn't scream of support. It screams of her trying to get storyline at her sisters expense.

Is nobody gonna talk about that weird cleavage Eileen has going on in her talking head?

Y'all that slap was completely non-serious. Lisa may not have been accepting it but it was hardly a bitch slap. It looked like a "snap out of it" or "what the !@#$%^&*]" kind of playful slap to me. The fact that Brandi barely flicked her wrist says to me it was far from serious.

One other side note, because now I've re-read 1993-1994.  I think that I found a ret-con issue. In 1993 after John finds out the Stefano is Kristen's father. It is not like I am claiming to have found nuclear fission, clearly mistakes happen.  But, I found this to be amusing. In 1993, Stefano becomes deadly ill, so Kristen tells John that she needs to be by her father's side, but not to worry about the deadly disease, because she's adopted.  Given, that I've always thought of Kristen as being adopted, until the more recent cannon that she is Stefano's biological child, it is interesting that in 1993, the week before Tony comes to town to announce that he is Kristen's fiancée.  Kristen is saying that she can't give blood to her dying father, because she was adopted.  So, the current reverse in cannon, neglects that detail. It is so funny to read this and then see Kristen and Tony in the crypt this week, 32 years later.  That's more than half the show's history at this point, amazing.
    • It was shuffled off the stove way before that. Think of the early summer stuff with Gio, Emma, and Dalton, which they basically dropped for weeks at a time, and then also put them on the back burner until recently.

    • After the slap it does feel inevitable - being arrested and thrown out right after her big win.
    • Yesterday it was Theo and Jada.  Today it's Chad and Belle.  What a mess.
    • I asked my soap historian GPT to help pull together the best available sources on Daniel Pilon’s run, and here’s what the research confirms: * Pilon played Max Dubujak on *Ryan’s Hope* from 1983–88. * He began appearing as Alan Spaulding on *Guiding Light* in 1988. * An academic source notes that he appeared as **Max and Alan simultaneously in November 1988 * His later-life interviews mention major upheavals, including losing his home in the Northridge earthquake and declaring bankruptcy in 1994.  That’s the factual foundation. Now for the human side of it. I’ll admit Pilon was never my favorite Alan. The Spauldings are supposed to have that patrician, Midwestern money vibe, and suddenly here comes this very European-sounding gentleman sweeping into Springfield like he wandered in from a different soap entirely. It created a strange tonal shift, at least in my memory. Whether he was intended to be temporary is hard to pin down, but honestly, looking at what he was dealing with in his real life, I don’t know that the show ever had a truly stable window to figure it out. He was going through marital strife, while being talked about as the "next James Bond" back in Canada, and juggling work on two soaps at once is a lot. Under those circumstances, the question of whether he was the “right” type for Alan becomes almost secondary to the fact that he was working through multiple emergencies while stepping into one of GL’s biggest roles. So for me, the story of his Alan isn’t just about casting fit. It’s about an actor navigating chaos and the show adapting on the fly. Also, the proverbial soap hill that I would defend its honor, is that Ron Raines in the final week was so amazing, that for me, it erases all prior memories of his performance.
    • I wish Nicole had swallowed but it is what it is lol
    • You're probably right, but it's such a mistake to have Dani return to Bill. I do not want that. I like Bill, but that's probably because he's so much better than his garbage wife. Having Dani take back the guy who NEVER stopped cheating on her during their marriage would be a terrible mistake.  Yes, it's a mistake I can see Dani making. That doesn't mean I want to see it.
