MAB Really is the biggest hack ever to come to Y&R She couldn't write a good story if it hit her square in her freaking lying face. I remeber reading how she was saying how important nikki was to the show and how she could imagine nikki not being there then. then she see how much MAB really hates nikki and how really she can't be bother to write for her.

Putting MTS on recurring is crap. seeing how there are alot of unless characters played by bad actor/actress on the show,

and yes JW is a really bad actor always has been.

Y&R is a show where you are more likely to excel if you can't act.

I would agree...Unless you're Farah Fath. If you ARE Farah Fath, you can be on any show you want with your shitfest acting skills!

Goes to show that you can't win against the corporate machine. MTS insisted that she didn't take a pay cut so they cut her.

If MTS is on recurring, I might officially be done with Y&R. And I have stuck with that show through some seriously awful s.hit.

She has always been on contract....I think she just meant that she is STILL on contract, contrary to reports that she was fired.

I was shocked at what Anna stuart said about amc's cast. AMC for me seems like one of the most family-oriented casts in daytime. Maybe they do have a click but she just wasn't accepted into it or she just was annoyed at not being a big deal there.

I found that interesting too, I wonder who the "egos" were though I have my guesses. Honestly, and this is pure conjecture, I bet that it wasn't so much "egos" as cliques and spotlight whore fake assedness that rubbed her the wrong way. You know? Like the AW cast struck me as a group of real, down to earth folks while some of the cast members at AMC seem very actory and taken by their "fame".

Some other actors (though ones I can remember far less than Anna Stuart) have said that AMC has a far more welcoming cast than other soaps they've been in. I'm sure it has to do with a lot of factors, but I do suspect the fact they never really used Mary played some part--maybe some actors never took her seriously as really being part of the cast--her main upset seemed to be that the PR person ignored her cuz she wasn't on contract. (Remember when she moved into the Chandler's? loved it--shame)

Still I got the impression she doesn't come off well in print interviews, a lot of that WLS interview seems to be her saying something that sounds extreme and then saying it isn't (ie her quick comment about the AMC experience "yes but it wasn't like I was miserable")
