March 16, 201016 yr Author Member An article about Bob & Kim, and a brief snippet about JM's return: http://www.tvguidemagazine.com/soaps/bob-and-kim-a-world-class-marriage-4384.html The anniversary hoo-hah (airing April 2 and 5) is big enough to lure Julianne Moore back to the show. The four-time Oscar nominee got one of her early breaks playing the Hughes’ daughters Frannie and Sabrina.
March 16, 201016 yr Member An article about Bob & Kim, and a brief snippet about JM's return: http://www.tvguidema...riage-4384.html Great article. I can understand how Hays and Hastings haven't come to terms with ATWT being cancelled. I feel the same way. I LOVE how Hastings is being told by his younger co-stars that we want more of him and Hays on air. So Julianne Moore will probably be the cliffhanger for Friday's show??...EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
March 16, 201016 yr Member This hasn’t always been the case. Here and there over the years, Kim and Bob have virtually disappeared from the canvas. “They should never have been excluded,” states Hastings. “[ATWT creator] Irna Phillips built this show on all the generations and our best writers over the years, like Douglas Marland, continued that tradition. I don’t have a computer but the young people on our show are always telling me that the internet crowd wants to see more of Kim and Bob. The people who have the power [at ATWT] may not realize that, or care about that, but I do believe it’s true.” I love Don Hastings He and Kathryn are both such underrated class acts, still give their best, and they're both aging very well. ATWT over the past 10-15 years has never known just how damn lucky they have been with their veteran actors, who continue to give the finest work on daytime and have not suffered serious illnesses or gotten awful plastic surgery. Imagine what they would have done for the show if they had been given a chance.
March 16, 201016 yr Author Member That's quite a feat on soaps, staying married that long and Bob only straying once. He's right, soaps don't build relationships anymore(IMO that's a huge problem with soaps)

March 16, 201016 yr Member Seeing her back, even in a picture, or for a few minutes, is divine. I would love more, but I can't help but like this.
March 16, 201016 yr Member No one delivers a Kiddo like Kathryn Hays. That's the greatest thing about Kim (and KH): she's always there with a sympathetic shoulder, but she isn't about to sugarcoat her opinion(s). Kim Hughes believes in tough love and honesty. I'll always appreciate that.
March 17, 201016 yr Member Pics of her return Some pics from her return. I can't wait!! These pics look great!!
March 17, 201016 yr Member It doesn't look like Andy is there. Oh well..lets hope he returns for the finale.
March 17, 201016 yr Member Barbara is there somewhere, right? I hope. CZP mentioned working with Julianne, I thought. It's great to see Lisa and Nancy again. With all the ups and downs in the movie business I'm sure Julianne must have felt like it was a safe haven to see so many of those faces again.
March 18, 201016 yr Member http://www.welovesoaps.net/2010/03/julianne-moore-on-helen-wagner-still.html She says she loved being reunited with her soap family, including 92 year old show matriarch Helen Wagner, who plays her grandmother. “She’s still giving us acting tips,” Moore recalls.
March 18, 201016 yr Member Am I wrong but weren't Sabrina and Frannie sisters and not cousins?? It would have been great had she played both roles in her return.
March 18, 201016 yr Member They were sisters and cousins, I think. I'd like to see Sabrina again too. Since that isn't likely I hope they at least mention her.
