Cute, but boring too.... Dre I swear was probably the least developed character ever on AMC... they (B&E) kept saying over and over again how they had such huge "plans" for Dre.... I was glad Pratt semi wrapped that up. B&E got so caught up in SLAVERY they forgot about everyone else for a while and I think Dre, one of their only character creations on AMC, suffered the most.

That would be great, as long as he doesn't go anywhere near Erica. I LOATHED that relationship. That would be interesting, if he got mixed in with the Hubbard's somehow.

GAWD, Erica has been looking horrible lately...I think darker makeup will suit her, and remedy this problem a bit. It's been like this, since last week when the show started in HD lol! It's clear that her make-up is very light and bringing out her worst skin flaws! Darker lip, darker shades, darker everything!! For all of the women, actually!!

My guess is that Jesse and Angie are stuck in limbo. They're currently in this pseudo storyline about how they don't spend enough time together and I think it's being written this way to accommodate a potential exit by either of the actors. I hope this isn't the case, but maybe they have a cycle coming up soon and the show is preparing themselves just in case Debbi or Darnell bolt. It'll be one of those, "we're leaving together in order to start a fresh life somewhere else" type exits.

Oh I hope not--Debbi, anyway, seems pretty commited to the show. The story is a tread water kinda one--I don't even mind it if they commit to it more.

I definitely agree with that, the show has enough wealthy\rich, high status characters. The show could for sure use more middle class type characters, who people in society can relate to.

I guess when David's involved, these idiots are just too brainless and incapable of taking the responsibility of making their own choices, right? Hate David or not, you'd have to go out of your way to be blind to the fact that every last thing David's ever done has been tossed in his face. Erica brought up the old standby of "David drugged a boat load of people" song and dance last week -- and that was almost a decade ago. And David didn't even intend on drugging the whole boat load of people. He was spiking Tad's drink when Arlene bumped into him and knocked the flask into the punch bowl. But that will NEVER be forgotten and will continuously be used as reason enough to pin any and everything on him, regardless of its misleading "truth." Tad buries a man alive, the only person who knows he did it died of poisoned pancakes and it's never been brought up again. Have I, or any one of us who support David, called him a "Saint?" No. Jake dumps Amanda for some other chick in the Army who rejects him. What does he do? Gets drunk, calls her a hooker, and now we're supposed to believe Amanda's the love of his life? Nobody BUT David calls the Martins on their crap. Tad and Jake have been all up David's ass, having people follow him, spy on him, report back his every move -- and somehow Jake's acting like David's forcing him to do this, when David has had absolutely no interest in this bunch of morons. Saying that these dipsticks are being thrown under the bus implies that they're the unwitting victims of David and are being sacrificed to bolster his presence. On the contrary. They dig their own graves by being hypocrites. Acting superior and above David -- only to contradict themselves and stoop DOWN to his level. Well, guess what. Stooping down into someone else's turf is kinda stupid because they know how to play the game down there. So don't go whining if your ass is handed to you on a silver platter.

I have to admit I never found Annie interesting pre her psycho era--or at least her brother (though B/E really coulda done more with that), but their plot contrivance of having Ryan get a bullet to his head and forget all about Annie was just DUMB--and the way they wrote Ryan not even being remotely sympathetic to Annie's siutuation or trying to mend things with her was further damage to his character.
