I am a fan of Ryan, but I am not looking forward to him constantly chewing out David and constantly being in David's face.

It's ironic that Tad who is an obsessive David hater, tells Jake that he thinks Jake needs an intervention because of Jake's obsessive David hate.

I am glad to see Jack again. I don't mind Ryan/Erica as a couple, but I didn't have a problem with any of the stuff that Jack said to Erica about them as a couple.

I loved David's line about Ryan's thought process not being able to handle all that heavy mental lifting. And of course it just went right over his head.

Jesse and his dumb ass needs to resign. He's become a mockery -- attempting to use Jake's statement after he already knew it was false to try to trap David. Um... if David's this skilled yet horrible, sneaky, treacherous, deceitful, sociopath of a liar you all spend so much time being jealous reminding us of, you'd think he wouldn't be able to call your bluff when you just so happen to have an "eyewitness account" from the man in charge of this latest David Hayward witch hunt?

People's homes are being broken into left and right across town. That takes a backseat to a cosmetic company's computer virus, right?

Speaking of idiots, leading into the world's dumbest couple Jake and Amanda, can we please give them something other to do than have Jake's shifty eyes obsess over David and Amanduh weeping and pleading with Joke to stop going after David? I've been saying this about this stupid ass couple from the get-go. Jake only wanted Amanda to "stick it to" David. If I have to hear this sob story about Jake losing precious time with Trevor because of David one more time, I'm going to ram the nearest person's head into a wall. Jake, you dumb ass, you're the one who screwed yourself out of your precious time with Trevor with your countless harebrained schemes! But, again, it's just more of the same. Martins never take responsibility for their own fucked up lives, and any wrong they do is always good.

Well, it's become gauche. All of the unwieldy lines of dialogue. Jack actually said how would Spike feel to see "her mommy kissing his daddy." Her, meaning Kendall -- which just made me say "Okay, wait. Who's "her" again? Oh, right! Kendall!"

Trying to keep track of all these nouns and pronouns and possessives... ugh!

Today is the first day she is credited. Though we've seen some definite tweeks to the story in the last week or so, I suppose this combination crediting of "Written by Charles Pratt Jr, Lorraine Broderick" marks the beginning of Broderick's storyline shift - and the wrapping up of the throghlines that Pratt started. In particular, I think Jack's reappearance (and what Erica will THANKFULLY do as a result) and the impending nuptials are her doing.

Welcome Back Lorraine Broderick! Was so nice to see her name back in the credits. I wasn't sure if she'd get a HW credit or if she'd just be lumped in with the AHW once Pratt is gone. Overall the episode was very good, but I did have a few minor issues.... many of which have already been commented on.

First off, Jake. Basically everyting R Sinclair said is everything I feel too. He hit the nail right on the head saying he only took up with Amanda to stick it to David. I enjoy these two, when its just them NOT obsessing over David.... it gets old. They all feel David obsesses over them, well they are doing the exact same thing and in even worse ways. I loved it when David announced to them he was getting married :D. David's dialogue was awesome today. From the scenes with Ryan (loved the bit about him and Erica carpooling over to accuse him to be green and save on gas) to the scenes with Jesse.... David is about the only one who see's the light as far as Jesse is concerned. Thank god we have David to balance out the hypocrisy half this show has.

In regards to Erica and Jack, obviously it was contrived in a way to facilitate him getting back here just in time for Greenlee to announce herself to the world, but it was very poignant to see him try to talk some sense into Erica, even if he wasn't being direct about it. He is really the only person left from her history that would be able to do that.... Opal could but she is so far up Ryan's ass its not even funny. I don't think Jerica are in the cards ever again (not that I want them), but I do like them keeping their history alive.

Lorraine Broderick was listed as headwriter along with Pratt in the credits today.

LOVED David calling out Ryan for what a self-righteous douche he is!

And lol at Jessie trying(and failing) to trick David with Jake's fake statement! I really wish his incompetent, crooked ass would get fired soon.<_<

I have nothing to say about those Martin clowns other than I want a GIF of Tad smacking Jake in the back of the head.

ICAM, honestly, I really wish they'd just write him off permanently, I'm sick of seeing him act like Erica's love sick puppy.

I have no hope for Opal. Erica could take up with Ted Bundy and Opal will squeeee with delight! Opal should also not be rooting for Tad and Sliza. But when it comes to Erica, Opal's always been used to tell the audience how we should feel about anything regarding Erica. We're supposed to feel sorry for Erica when she deliberately screws up her relationships with men. We're supposed to feel happy for Erica when she dates her grandson's father. Jack, while I have my issues with him and Erica as a couple, I have to admit lets her have it every now and again.

    • They didn't need to have some slutty gay dude as their representation. Just a 'normal' guy getting involved with another guy or two (or three). Just like the straight characters. Thinking about it, they missed the boat by not having a few other single charcters at the beginning. Maybe Naomi or Ashley could be shown meeting Derek/Jacob and we could follow their romance. Too many characters were coupled up at the start. As a tattoo hater I was surprised to see Tomas so inked. Don't find it attractive or sexy. I'm surprised an actor would do that as it's definitely a statement and may not be appropriate for some roles. Suppose they can cover if necessary. I didn't buy Kat being all girly and then paying off Darius to get into Eva's room. Way too cliche. She should have just come along when the housekeeping was leaving and breezed in saying it was her room. And her smug looks in the hotel room and 'Now I've got you!!' talks to herself at Orphey Gene's...no.

    • 1976 Pt 5 Tony is summoned to the reading of the will in the Llanfair library,as he’s a principal in the will. He tells Joe there’s not a chance of coming to terms with Dorian, as he is sure she brought about Victor’s death by torturing him emotionally when he was her helpless prisoner after his stroke. Ironically, Chapin hand delivers to Viki a letter her father wrote before his stroke, praising Dorian and asking Viki to befriend and support his widow when he was no longer there. Viki feels a responsibility to her father’s wishes and vows to try with Dorian. Victor’s will leaves the expected amounts to members of his family and staff, with the lion’s share of his stock and property going to Dorian. Victor’s will explains that his son Tony expressed the desire that he not be “bought from the grave,” and, in keeping with his son’s wishes, the only bequest to him is the knowledge of his father’s love and respect. Tony is deeply moved. Dorian’s first attempt to use her new power is the recommendation of Peter as head of the Merideth Lord Wolek hospital wing, claiming that naming Larry would be virtual nepotism. Peter, who has devoted considerable time and effort to helping Jenny get over Tim’s death with gentle, affectionate support, is happy at this suggestion, but Jenny points out Dorian is merely using him to hurt Larry. Viki disregards Dorian’s ingenuous assurances that she’s not trying to wield her new power but is merely putting Peter up for consideration for a future opportunity, if not this one, and tells her she won’t be able to fulfill her father’s desire that they be friends unless Dorian stops interfering. Larry, fully understanding Dorian’s personal motives, warns her he’s going to fight for the appointment no matter what. Realizing that she has made a tactical error, Dorian announces that she won’t even attend the board meeting but will give her proxy to Jim. She admits to Matt McAllister, still her confidant, that this was humiliating, but it was a necessary protective tactic. Dorian manages to win her next round at Joe’s office when, after he praises her decision to yield on appointing Peter, she expresses concern for Viki “at a time like this.” Joe, of course, jumps on her words, and Dorian, pretending great distress at having mentioned something she shouldn’t have, is “forced” to explain that she knew about the congenital heart condition Megan had and that any child of Joe’s is likely to inherit it. She overheard the doctors discussing it at the time of the accident, she continues, and naturally assumed that Joe already knew. Joe arranges a meeting at home with Viki and asks her how she could live a lie like this; how she could go through their lives as if everything were fine while every moment was a lie. He is further upset when, in trying to explain that it was out of her love for him that she kept the truth from him, she mentions that Jim and Larry also know but Cathy still hasn’t been told. Viki tells Joe that Dorian deliberately told him this way to hurt their marriage, and she is very upset when he starts toward the door, pleading that they have always talked things out in the past. Joe coolly points out that she didn’t do that when she learned about Megan and continues out the door. A tearful Viki is shaken and when Joe later returns, having spent several hours in a bar drinking only soft drinks, she breaks down, crying that she was convinced he’d left her. Joe assures her they can get through this despite everything, because their relation is based on love and mutual respect.
    • If you think about it, DALLAS and DYNASTY grew stale right about the same time, even if the ratings were slow to reflect that. FC and KL, on the other hand, tried to stay fresh, but KL was way more successful at it, I think, than FC. (That [!@#$%^&*] with The Thirteen does not hold up well, lol).
