Members DaytimeFan
Wow. What the [!@#$%^&*] was that interview all about. Michael Fairman should be ashamed of himself, is he even watching this 'soap opera'? Rauch's dig at Jess Walton not 'getting' the scene with Tucker was just the icing on the cake. NEWSFLASH RAUCH, Jess Walton didn't 'get' the scene because THE SCENE WAS NOT INKEEPING WITH THE 37 YEAR CHARACTERIZATION OF JILL FOSTER ABBOTT! I really would like to see Jess quit, say '[!@#$%^&*] You' to the business and kick up her heels in Sherman Oaks. She deserves SO much better than this. I wonder if B&B is hiring? Members DRW50
Does this mean Bob Guza is a gay icon?
Members bellcurve
Everyone knows Bob Guza is an Elton John doppelganger.
Members DRW50
I don't even know what Guza looks like now. I have that awful memory of the Elton glasses and that leather jacket he obviously thought made him look so cool. JFP also used the same press photo for years, which annoyed me (the pose I mean), but at least I've seen her on awards shows (where she usually looks quite good). I'd love to see Jess on B&B, she'd fit in on that show, or at least what the show was supposed to be, not the overaged Brooke/Taylor/Ridge and the weird teens and leatherface Nick and trampy Donna and a long list of peripheral characters. When Susan Flannery retires, Jess would be a great matriarch.
Members YRBB
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen Guza! Diva Jill on B&B would be heaven.... kind of like the late 80s, early 90s incarnation of Jill, but not forsaking all the growth she has had these past few years. But Bell would never write for her well.
Members DaytimeFan
I wouldn't want Jill to come to B&B, but Jess Walton, absolutely. Whatever writing she'd get at B&B (Kay Alden's on staff, it would be better than the sh*t she's dealing with at Y&R) Jess would be a breath of fresh air. I'm really angry at this Fairman interview. This sort of stuff usually doesn't bother me because it's the business, but this is different somehow.
Members DRW50
I can see where such a long and breathless record of their delusions and narcissism would annoy you, and how they go out of their way to praise some of the absolute worst of their product, while giving backhanded slaps to their best. It's all a long justification of their flaws. It's like a very long and pained political speech.
Members DaytimeFan
I think that's it...it's as if they went out of their way to say exactly the opposite of what those of us who are invested in Y&R being a quality show have been saying. Members MoTheGreat
I thought tinted sunglasses have Rauch thinking that he's got a lot of AA characters on Y&R.

Members DRW50
I can see them remaking Cruising for Genoa City. Billy is already being fitted for the leathers. Can his self-destructive impulses be stopped in a world of raunchy tie-fixing? Some of them don't even wear ties! So that's why they love Daisy. She's a strong black woman. Members Vee
If they remake Cruising I demand a less ambiguous ending and the full three hour cut.

Members DRW50
I just remembered that Cruising has William Russ. A new version of Cruising, where Russ goes insane when a callous producer says Stephen Nichols is replacing him as a leather daddy.
