Erica stole Fusion from Greenlee? Can Greenlee STFU and get over herself! Does she realize that everyone thought she was DEAD for the past year. How in her mind can she possibly blame Erica for "stealing" Fusion from her. I dont know why she's so surprise that Erica is running the place as she was running it for months before Greenlee even had her accident. Erica is what saved and brought it back to life after the FCC shut it down following that sabotage fiasco that Greenlee let happen under her watch. Love or hate her, Erica has been keeping that company afloat in her absense and she should be grateful bc without Erica, Fusion would have closed down

Yeah I kinda was too--I think Chip hayes scripts are usually ok, but to me a lot of the dialogue seemed forced. I'm starting to get weirded out by super positive Madison too--can't we SEE one of her therapy sessions or have her not have such an instant change? Are they setting up something with her and Randi--they better be, otherwise I'm getting meh (and with Linda--again could we maybe have ONE scene of them talking? It feels phony to me when we see everything except the actual processes). I like Greenlee and David but found everything they did today, old and already done. Liked seeing Val. It was a pretty meh episode for me. But I've been enying the show more and more, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much.

HAH I forgot about the whole Fusion sabotage storyline. At any rate, it's completely keeping in Greenlee's character to be focused on this and I for one am enjoying Greenlee back much more than I expected.

That bar Damon mentioned, Diego's sounds much more interesting than CONfusion. I love how sick I am of the hangouts on this show that I'd lova GLIMPSE of anywhere else in Pine Valley.

OK random, but did anyone else see the cereal Angie bought? it was called cocoa SPECKLES with both both S's oddly reversed, sounds nutritious and delicious :S

If they ever show Kish eating Fruity Speckles I am too through...

I am also sick of Confusion, I'd like to see a good old-fashioned dark wood bar with a pool table and a dart board, or at least a sports bar. I am bothered by bright ass Confusion's very L.A.-like vibe with a bunch of twentysomethings who presumably don't work just shooting the breeze over 'tinis and champers in the middle of the day, as I'm typing this I can hear buh-doom-BOW-buh-doom-BOW-buh-doom-BOW music in my head.

    • I hit the Google Machine, and can't find Alex Alegria's (Tomas) age anywhere. Wow, I really disagree with this. I like that Bill plays against the typical bad guy. I think Maurice Johnson has been just fine -- except for that swaying. I cannot believe someone -- anyone -- on that set didn't give him a note. He should have been called out on that in week one. The swaying and swiveling never stops unless he sits down. I understand the need for product placement and the reason for it. However, it does feel wrong during emotional scenes. Yes, we're talking about the products, but it takes us out of those emotional moments, and GATES shouldn't be happy about that. They need to do better. Maxim said it better than I did. I agree. The writers have absolutely failed Ashley and Derek. I've abused both of them here, but I do place more of the blame on the writing. Compare what A & D have been given with the dialogue Ambyr Michelle is getting as Eva. We're not even in the same universe. Ambyr is getting writing that plays to her (many) strengths. She takes good dialogue and knocks it out of the park. Ashley and Derek are given garbage to play and garbage to say.
    • The Eva / Tomas scenes at the end -- to see a good actress having to play a scene with someone giving her less than nothing -- that was painful.
    • I thought the story had it’s moments, I much preferred the story once Greg was meddling, trying to keep her away from Tom Ryan. I loved them together!   And there was a story they could have developed from this. Laura stopped having a lot of scenes with the ensemble. She's the only one missing during the big finales of seasons 5&6, and I would have been cool to play on that! For one, Laura being a more cutthroat business executive just made sense to me. Also, the point I was trying to make regarding Mary Robeson was that I wish they had focused on a story from her family /background beforehand. You could play the Vin artist from many angles.
    • Nielsen Ratings for this same week 39 years ago May 5-11 1986. North & South Book II mini-series pre-empted a number of ABC shows. What the heck was NBC’s Fast Copy about?

    • I think the arrival of the Spauldings (Alan/Elizabeth/Phillip) caused the erosion of Sara's character on the show since Elizabeth took over Sara's place in the whole Justin/Jackie story.  Sara's brief marriage to another deceptive man sounded like it paled in comparison to the previous deceptive man story that she had played the decade beforehand.. and it was probably done because of the whole Alan/Jackie/Mike/Elizabeth cluster that took off story wise.   I know the show had introduced Brandy, the woman Justin cheated on Jackie with... but I don't believe she lasted more than a year.. and didn't make much of an impression. While the Dobson's were good at writing/juggling multiple characters/stories.. they weren't perfect though they did manage to make use of characters not in the front burner like Sara, Ann, etc. I do know that Sara/Adam looked to be starting up at the end of the Dobson era with a jealous/regretful Barbara looking on.. which played out during the Roger/Holly rape story and Hollys prison story.   I don't know if Marland was as inspired by that story when he took over
    • If you ever make it to the Paley Center in NYC (fka Museum of TV and Radio), in their viewing room, you can watch Days 1/1/73 featuring Denise Alexander as Susan. It’s her last month on the show before switching to GH.
    • Overall I was impressed with this week and fall out from the revealation.  I am looking forward to seeing the Nicole/Dana showdown next week.  I do wonder if June is going to be tied to Hayley.
