I was thinking that was the shows way of telling us that Chloe and Billy understand each other. We also got a lot of Chloe hating Esther because she grew up in a boarding school around the time Billy came back.

I understand Chloe issue with Esther. Esther letting her rich boss sending Chloe away to boarding school. But Billy left town with John. Or was I dreaming that up.

The arrogance of the members of this writing team really comes though on this show, it's terrible and awful. You get the sense that you're supposed to ignore what happened before their reign of terror and believe the crap they're feeding you, no matter what these characters are and have done in the past. It's like they blame the fans for hating this show so much, when they've failed at doing their own jobs.

Most of the childhood memories are retcons but Victoria & Nick did spend a lot of time with Victor, Nikki, Jack & Ashley.

TPTB use that retcon to justify writing Billy OOC.
