I liked Sean too. But no, he didn't have a proper exit. He stopped appearing and later it was mentioned that he moved to Seattle (?) with Barbara.

I acgtually remember him basically havign an exit--saying he was leaving (but did Barbara get one herself?) I didn't mind him--again it just seemed wasted potential as Carl said
