There is going to be some new romantic pairings.

Neil and Ashley will have be romantically paired together.

So will Paul and Nina.

And this last couple pairing im trying to remember because I got it a while ago but the new guy Tucker will be either be paired with Jill or Nikki

Maybe the writers are reading the boards because I remember there being a poll about whether Neil should be paired with Ashley and well its happening guys!

Neil and Ashley will have be romantically paired together.

So, I don't love this. I've never seen any chemistry between these two. Unless there can be some fire (e.g., she sees him shirtless, he sees her in a bikini, and their lust starts to flow), I don't want them to pursue this. It's really just linking two people for linkage sake, because they don't know what else to do. That said, since Ashley is a cancer survivor, they have missed the opportunity to play that beat with Lily.

I'm not prejudging, but right now this is not a pairing that seems anything other than expedient to me.

So will Paul and Nina.

This feels like a one-way ticket to recurring status for Doug Davidson. These are both great actors, and I'm sure they'd sell it as some sweet old friendship that has blossomed into more. I also liked how Paul kept calling Chance 'Phillip' at the church--reminding us that he often was around that young boy. So I could see that as another line of connection. But unless Nina has a contract AND some conflict/problems, this isn't going to be the kind of front-burner tale these actors deserve.

Yup, Tucker-Jill or Tucker-Nikki...or a triangle where Jill tries to one-up Nikki (because Nikki always had more love from Kay) is about what I would have expected. But yawn. And then Victor will come back and engage in bullfights with Tucker? Yawn again.

On the other hand, if this is the start of something sincere and energetic for Jill...I might change my mind.

JIll and NIkki need to be thrown in a traingle. Now that would be juicy. MTS and JW have as much a b*tch chemistry going as did MTS and Alex Donnelley...

Neil and Ashley have both struggled to have chemistry with a lot of love interests so I guess they fit in that department. I wonder how Olivia will feel about this, if she still exists.

Paul's never going to have a major story anyway, so I wouldn't mind seeing him with Nina.

Not that I'm watching this show or anything.

Well this conflicts with the rumors of a Adam and Ashley pairing or hook up.

I'd like this better, I'd have to say this would be one of Neil's better pairings since Dru's death.

However knowing the show and their writers, all the potential with such a couple is going to be squandered.

I think the Adam/Ashley stuff shifted to Adam/Sharon.

I can't take another Adam "rivalry". They all amount to Adam squinting and twitching and giving the deadest line readings possible.

This might work is KSJ or ED try to sell it, but they both tend to shut down quickly in romantic stories.

I think it's a way to get rid of KSJ. We all know those who opposed Niel & Victoria are going to come out the wood work to oppose Niel & Ashley. & plus Niel chemistry with people who isn't VR is very sketchy at best.

& it's too bad because he's the last Winters left. Maybe they really are planning on recasting Malcolm.

Ummm...I hope they eventually track down your source and promptly FIRE them..then they can use the extra cash to spruce up a few of those ugly looking sets!!
