She does have some power on the show, particularly over the women and the stories. Yet JFP allows Steve Burton and Tyler Christopher to balloon up in size and nary a peep. Guza must have their back.

Im happy, because i LOVE JJ&BH as LL2.

However i find some of the responses okay. Some who were outraged by "the REAL greenlee" promos think it would be OK. Some who claim to hate all the agenda pushing by TPTB hope that this is just a new agenda to push? lol.... so nothing was wrong with either of those things, it just didnt fit your personal wants. also, as far as JFP having say over set, hair, wardrope, etc is one thing. being able to mandate and decide storylines is another game all together, lol... anyways

Im sad for Greg, and i hope he can land on another soap soon. I would love to see him on Days but i has a pretty full cast (not that a few people cant go to make room - bryan, nadia, shawn...). But he has done pretty well for himself so far in thus business.

I also wonder if this means we will be seeing GF return? I am sure this is soemthing GH has been working on for some time. Pushing the cassadine story back makes since now. I also wonder how long until they revist who is Jake's dad? This def amps up the Lucky/Liz/Nik drama. I bet TG is thrilled to have JJ back.

Also, JJ still looks like a teenager. Its gonna be odd to see him next to Becky & Tyle and even natalia. He is gonna look younger than Spin, Maxie, Lulu, Johnny, Matt, Dante...

I have never bought the excuse she's some powerless poor female. I don't think she sets the direction of the show but I don't believe Wendy Riche did either. What Wendy did have was the power to have stories pulled, changed, altered, if she wasn't happy. I do think JFP works more collaboratively with Guza but it doesn't mean she doesn't have power. Just a reason IMO to absolve JFP for all the problems that exist on that show and IMO she's worse to the women there than a male EP would be.

I doubt they will ask Genie back. If anything they may have JJ talk about how horrible life with Laura was.

Matt and Johnny are probably on their way out so Lucky won't have to worry about being younger than them.

I'm not interesting in seeing LL2 revisited under anyone. I know there is a sentamentality with many, but there's no guarantee the same chemistry exists. NL left and came back less than a year later and the chemistry she had with TC(while I hated Nik and Emily, the actors did have chem) was not the same. It was the same with SBr and Mo. I realize the situations are not the same because they played new characters, but BH is also not Liz of 1996 and JJ is not the Lucky of that era either. I'd much prefer to see them explore a Lucky/Emily pairing, which I always felt they should have done over LL2. I am going to be interested to see what their chem is like and also see how JJ chem tests with some others.

It'll be pretty funny to see Lucky suddenly relevant again. Elizabeth won't look at him with mild disgust anymore, suddenly Sam will remember that she used to sleep with him, Luke will be all "HEY COWBOY! HEY PORT CHARLES, I LOVE MY SON!" and Ethan will be irrelevant. And all of this will be handled very SUBTLY.

I wonder if they'll run "THE REAL LUCKY RETURNS" promos or have they learned nothing?

I can't wait for Lucky to beat up the cops, have drinks with Luke and Sonny and start frequenting the whorehouses with Dad. That's what Luke (and "real" Lucky) is to Guza now. Wonderful to have JJ back but Lucky has been treated like [!@#$%^&*] for years and I fear he will be even moreso now, but in a totally different way - instead of being another Guza goat like the recasts, he will become another disgusting post-millennial Guza "hero."

Yeah we might end up hating him like Sonny and Jason.

I was actually encouraged to hear about the 2 new Cassadines thinking that maybe just maybe they have finally realized TC is awful and Nikolas is a boring putrid character and does nothing interesting on this show other than sleep with women. I never really liked the character much when TC came back, but the awful rape cheating storyline was just really bad for his character and to me he never recovered from it. He's forever known as the one man who cheated on his raped wife. They never show his kid, never really show him with his family, never see him spening anytime on work or anything other than chicks. When I heard they were both supposed to be evil and darker, I felt he might actually be replaced on canvas with the new male character they were brining on. His contract is up in 6 months.

Alexis I can never part with. NLG is a fab actress and she has very little involvement with the Cassadines anyway. So they can boot Nik, bring on Misha and Valentin as the new darker more interesting Cassadine element in Port Charles.

I never think of Nik as the guy who cheated on his raped wife. It's all a little fuzzy now with time, but I remember him begging her to come home and she choosing to spend all her time with Sonny and the boys. She understandably wouldn't touch him, she would not get help, and then he inexplicably was with Courtney, but Emily was magically in love with Sonny (I forget why it had to be Emily who cared for his kids).

Alexis was always the most useless of all the Cassadines, much the same way Marilyn was to the Munsters. That family could use some help because Nik is a dud and Alexis has always been too mundane to star in a good over the top Cassadine story.

Guza is still writing so it will be crap. And JJ looks still like is 12. How will that work?!! No matter how hard they tried in the The Sarah Connor Chronicles, he still looked like a kid.

As for acting, he was painfully overrated. I have never seen anything special or particularly outstanding with him. Get ready for Luke to care about his son again, Elizabeth to care, etc..

OK. First of all, wow. W O W.

Second, poor Greg Vaughan. First Gearygate, then recurring, now this. What a slap in the face. He certainly brought the pretty to GH. I hope he lands on his feet soon. If Days wasn't already so stuffed with newbies, I'd be banging the drums for him to go there! However, I also think he'd be well placed to try for a CW drama. Vampire Diaries as another Salvator relative.

About Jonathan Jackson, a few caveats:

- hope he has grown a couple of inches,

- hope his voice has lowered a couple octaves,

- hope he has kept up with acting and is on top of his game as a male actor, not a child-actor,

- hope Guza writes for him the way he did back in the 90s -- when he and Nikolas were equals.

- hope TG eats mega CROW following his remarks about Ethan being Luke's only true son blah blah blah.

If this means a new emphasis on the Cassadines and Spencers, then bring it on! Bring on Constance Towers, too. The Zacharrazzzzzzzz were always a poor mob imitation of the Cassadines anyway.
