Nancy Curlee was on the writing team until March 1994. I don't know when Stephen Demorest left the writing team.

I was thinking that people always pointed out the flaws during the last 2-3 decades of the show BUT what I will give them different producers, writers and them is that they actually tried different combinations and let interact different characters with each other.

I mean in no world would money hook up with Roger cause she’s unhappy at home but the chemistry was there and the story worked.

Even if it’s controversial Jammy did have steam and chemistry and Guiding light and as really touching boundaries again with the audience..

I do wonder: How did people feel about Nadine and Billy Lewis? And Holly and Ross? How where they received by the audience ?

I am so not the person to ask about Billy and Nadine. What I will say is the triangle was a little more layered than Nadine simply being the stock irritant/interloper/bad guy. As much as I hate to admit it.

I think viewers liked Holly/Ross. The writers at the time dealt with Holly and Ross' past (he had represented Roger when Holly pressed rape charges against him) and didn't ignore it. (Unlike parts of Roger's past, i.e., raping Rita)

I'm not sure why the writers broke them up permanently.

I always knew Billy and Nadine would break up. It was just a question of when or how.

I'm not sure if the intent was to separate Ross and Holly permanently. I think they had every intention of reuniting the two. It's just that JvD and Sherry Stringfield's chemistry together (as Ross and Blake) took everyone by surprise.
