January 7, 20241 yr Member I will say, my favorite "version" of the theme is the original opening credits cut with flute on the lead. The vocals were only used for the closing credits before the strings version replaced both.

January 7, 20241 yr Member That's the thing I liked about GL, they had numerous themes and would change it up. I much prefer the 1975 to 1981 theme over the stupidity that was the 1982 disco theme.

I like the theme beautiful tune, but the graphics have a melancholy vibe. Does anyone know who created that opening graphic ? It reminds me of when I was a kid and there would be a nature graphic for Station ID or when there would be technical difficulty and they would show a graphic place card of trees, a stream etc...
