She turned down an offer from Y&R after leaving GL because she didn't want to uproot her children. Did she and her husband seperate/divorce? I didn't know that. I really don't see her going because of A) her children B) the show has given her little to no story to warrant her to up and move across the country.

How would Beth Ehlers support herself and her children if she gave up her job, especially in this economy? There are not tons of acting jobs for 40 something women in NY. She can't throw away a steady job because it moves across the country.

Yeah, Beth basically said last spring when her story was really in a lull she called up ABC to ask if she still had a job. She said she didn't want to lose the job because she is a single mom with kids to support.

So, yeah...I wouldn't be surprised to see her move to LA. 1). It's a job 2). If AMC gets cancelled, she's going to need more work, and all the work will be in LA. There will be no soaps left in NY sooner rather than later.

I had no idea that she and her husband and split. My point is depending on her custody arrangement with her husband, she might not be able to pack up her kids and move across country OR be away from her kids for long periods of time.

Whatever the custody arrangement that Beth Ehlers and her ex-husband have, I am sure that they will adjust it so she can make the move to LA and they share custody. Unless the man is a fool or independently wealthy, there is no way that he can want her to be unemployed and his children to suffer financially.

Yup...didnt it happen because of her allegedly romp with Robert(Lurch) Bogue?......The guy gets around....he was married to at the time. And didnt he get back with his wife after Beth..only to boink another costar??...LOL

Agreed..she has engulfed the show. I am so sick of seeing Alicia. Talk about overkill airtime.

According to Branco and his "Moles" in his latest posts

PLANNING TO MOVE TO L.A.: Michael E. Knight (Tad), Debbi Morgan (Angie), Jacob Young (JR), Aiden Turner (Aidan), Adam Mayfield (Scott) and Melissa Claire Egan (Annie)

PLANNING TO LEAVE AMC: Thorsten Kaye (Zach), Alicia Minshew (Kendall), Ray MacDonald (Joe) and David Canary (Adam/Stuart)

QUESTION MARKS: Susan Lucci (Erica), Darnell Williams (Jesse) and Cameron Mathison (Ryan) — but the latest Intel is that all three stars are leaning towards trying to commute to L.A. “Cam just signed a contract with Good Morning America as a special correspondent and he just renovated his new home in Harlem,” explains an insider. “As for Susan, it’s still unclear. And Darnell is a diehard New Yorker, but I think he’ll move out at least part time. It’s not like he’s on the front burner or anything.” Personally, I’m praying that the biggest soap star on the planet, Susan Lucci (Erica), re-signs because the show will die an earlier death without her.

REPORTEDLY THINKING OF RETURNING: Eden Riegel (ex-Bianca) and Justin Bruening (ex-Jamie)

REPORTEDLY NOT RETURNING YET: Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee) and Alexa Havins (ex-Babe)

If TK is really leaving AMC, there must be something at OLTL lined up for him. In any case, a hearty goodbye to him and Alicia. Won't miss'em. However, I'm sure that Branco is wrong. One way or the other, they both will be back.

I will only be sad if David Canary leaves. Wonderful, wonderful actor.

As for TK & AM - please leave. I beg you. Try primetime, movies, other soaps, but please stay the hell out of Pine Valley for a long, long, LOOOOONG time.

Too bad for Dr. Joe, but I always forget that he is still on the show, so if he leaves or stays, will anyone notice?

YAY for Bianca & Jamie returning.

And for "question marks" - CamMat, the same as TK & AM.

    • Honestly, they should've ordered more of 2000 Malibu Road for the 1992-93 midseason and aired it when Knots went on a break. That was probably their best shot.    Then of course they fumbled Central Park West by airing it in the 9PM slot instead of a 10PM slot where it would've been away from the Fox dramas. CPW got its best rating by airing randomly on a Sunday and when it was taken off the air for a "re-tooling", Party of Five's ratings actually had a spike, so clearly they were feeding off each other. But being a smaller network focused on a certain demographic, Fox could afford to be patient Party of Five, CBS couldn't...
    • Agree on Bruce Gray as Owen; they needed to cast star power. He was too lightweight against Kim and he had no chemistry with Frances Fischer except more gay buddy or daddy figure.  I loved Nola and Eliot together though. Lee Godart should have been longer term.
    • Andre has the worst fashion of the males which is off putting for someone as fine as he is. His jackets and sweaters look dated and no vintage does not work for him
    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!

    • Bill and Hayley’s living room set should be redressed as their bedroom. We’ve not seen their gorgeous circular entry way set since the first week? Why not utilise that more and build them a living room off those double doors? The hotel room also doesn’t have a bed? Does only Dani have a bedroom?
