LOL...let's just hope the spoiler true.biggrin.gif I could see Damian's wheels moving in his brain. I didn't know it was Holden's will. But just by his actions and expressions you can tell Old Damian is coming back....LOL.

An okay show today. I must admit, I don't really care if Holden ever materializes. I have grown to dislike his character, I guess because I hate that self-righteous pompous control-freak type of behavior in REAL people. Last thing I want to do is see it in fiction. In any case, I only really liked Van today, although I didn't too much care for his character. It's just like Luke to make Holden's death all about *him*. I thought the actress playing Faith did an awful job today, though. Her robotic deliveries took me out of the story completely at times. And I just love it when Meg and Lily get into it! No clue why, but this Lily/Damien/Meg drama really intrigues me...maybe she only annoys me when she's around Dusty and Paul.

I wonder what the deal is with Janet's sister? She seemed awfully *snappy* today.

Yes, I will admit Van is overrated.

His crying and wailing scenes today were pretty bad. They were the Jake Silbermann technique. He learned from the best in Mr. Silbermann. Too bad the good acting of Widdoes, Hubbard, CZP, Hays or Hastings hasn't rubbed off on him. Instead, he seems to be sucked into the Jake Silbermann of acting. Van had so much potential. Once Jake was casted opposite him his acting went to hell.

I think he is tempted to do too much since Jake is more...subdued, but I wonder if ATWT just doesn't have a good acting coach. Do they even have one now? I know they used to have Darnell Williams, or Larkin Malloy, or someone. The cast in that age range aren't what they could be, especially since some of them have been on the show for 2-3 years now.

I couldn't remember if she was at GL or ATWT as an acting coach. Bring her back! And put her oncamera too, she would sort out Meg in no time, or at the very least, make Meg so depressed that she'd move back to Waco with Josh.

Geez...am I the only one who is enjoying this show??? Sure, there are flaws, but credit should be given where credit's due.

So we learned today that Terri can be a real bitch. I can understand how she can have a crush on Craig, but what woman nonchalantly takes off their shirt just like that in front of someone who isn't their significant other? And according to Craig, he has no clue that Terri has a crush on him, so that scene just struck me as being really weird.

I really like Rosanna & Parker's relationship. The look on Rosanna's face when she realized that Parker wanted HER opinion? Cute. I went from not liking Parker to liking him again. Liberty, on the other hand, is getting annoying. Rosanna was right on when she said that Liberty can't have it both ways.

Colour me shocked when Parker & Faith ended up having a scene together! The girl who plays Faith is a tad subdued, but I find the girl who plays Sage even more robotic.

Now, I could care less if Holden came back from the dead (in my dreams, they would have offed him ages ago...the character bores me to tears)...but I am loving this storyline. It's great seeing so many family interactions. Slowly but surely, we're getting rid of these character bubbles.

I can take or leave Luke & Noah. Are they overrated? Yes. Are they so terrible that they're unwatchable? No. I thought Van did a pretty good job today. Dude's eyes were red! And he's not as over-the-top as Tom Pelphrey (and I liked TP at one point). Let's ignore acting for a moment...Luke's self-blame in regards to Holden's death is so understandable. If he had gone to Kentucky with Holden, maybe he's right...maybe Holden would still be alive. But like Noah pointed out, how could he have known that something bad would happen???

When did they age Ethan? I thought the part where Faith & Lily tell him that his dad is dead was one of the weaker parts of the show. And yes, I blame the director as well as the little kid who plays him. He was practically smiling the entire time! I've seen far better child actors than that kid. That scene was saved by having its last shot on Lily's face, which perfectly conveyed how Ethan should have reacted.

I was wondering if Lily would ever blame her kissing Damian for Holden's death and today, she finally did! I think the part where Lily tried to fight Damian off before collapsing in his arms was very well done. And then when Faith walked into the room and yelled at Damian to stay away from her mother...my jaw dropped. Good stuff.

Meg is near the top of my sh-t list, but I love her catfights with Lily. Emma's reaction to seeing the two women fight about Damian was pretty awesome, too.

Damian may be up to his old tricks, but I believe that he really does love Luke. Paolo Seganti and Van Hansis are one of the best (and also, underrated) father/son duos on daytime right now. Damian did the right thing in telling Luke that he would never try to take his father's place and that what he really needs right now is to be close to his family. And after saying all that, I could still sense that Damian wishes he had more of a place in Luke's life as his father.

I'm loving the show! I've just been a little bit behind so I can't discuss it with you guys just yet. I still have Friday's to watch and I'll almost be there.

The best story for me is the Hughes family drama. Tom is finally being given an equal footing with Margo and seems relevant again. My only problem is that he seems to irrational and angry all the time. I wish they'd push the angle that he thought she was having an affair with Riley to justify his actions. Unless he thinks Riley is trying to bilk her for money or whatever, he shouldn't be so hateful even if she is using him to replace her son. She's grieving, have some compassion. Speaking of Riley, I like him a lot more than the previous really gay miscast Broadway!Adam. He was a mess. This one isn't your typical soap hunk, but he's cute and different and likable.

The other half of the Hughes story is whatever is going on with Bob. Let's face it. Tom and Margo are in their 50s...is it really outrageous to think that Tom's parents would have health issues? But of course this is Bob Hughes, who is loves. He's their father, grandfather, friend, etc. and you never want to think of your loved one being ill. Especially with something like Alzheimers which would rob him of his life's passion--being a doctor. This is your classic soap story because it tied into the family dynamics of Riley's arrival and it also brings the fued with the Stewart's back to the forefront in a new way. Of course nobody would believe that trainwreck Alison, who is also a Stewart. Had this news come from someone else maybe they'd have been more accepting of the possibility. Now if they'd just include Emily and Susan in this story to give Alison some support, you'd have gold! Decades of drama going back to the 60s. Great!

Right now they've been scaling things back and are going for classic soap stories. It's not difficult to write a good soap. You need to refocus the families, give us romance, comedy, mystery and Oakdale has all of that right now. The story with Janet is another good one. I don't like Liberty from the little i've seen, but I love her. I didn't expect to like her since I hated Julie Pinson on DAYS, but she's doing a great job here. It reminds me of why I was so sad when Eve was killed off on Port Charles.
