You know what, I just watched Thursday's show, and I'm GLAD Nick/Sharon do not get a blissful reunion. Both are self-absorbed and selfish characters, who have cheated on one another multiple times. I'd rather see a bumpy and troubled reunion between them, instead of a sweet, sappy love affair. Besides that, I'm tired of the Nick Newman free pass. Nick things he can just go back to his first family, and people think they deserved a better reunion than this? HA!

Why is Y&R being compared to Melrose Place all of a sudden? Oy.

I loved Mac's hair on Friday. Her extensions are looking really good

I loved Noah calling Sharon and Nick out. It is kind of digusting how everyone cheats on this show. I think Lauren and Michael are the only married couple who havent been fooling around. Murphy/Kat and Cane/Lily dont count as they only just got married.

You know what frustrates me:

Whilst Sharon and Amber have characteristics in common they should be (as they were developed) two very different characters, within the last few months I feel as if Sharon has become Amber with better intentions. Where is the character identity?

Nick....Nick should always be a passionate character, he is also (like Sharon) prone to cheating, he is also not the most loyal now in addition he is completly selfish, nothing going for him in the parenting department anymore, stuipidER, dresses bad, and careless. I'm sorry what is left to root for again?

Neil & Devon. Oh God where to start? TPTB don't care to write them anything decent but my two cents in the absence of Dru and Malcolm Devon and Neil is the dynamic to develop, also while their at it flesh out Neil and Victor's dynamic pair Neil with someone who is not TYRA to sizzle with if even for a time being KSJ got it just find him the right fit. Give Devon a different angle to fit in with the rest of the canvas

So I don't get it is Devon too good for the FAB Four or is the FAB four too good for him? Devon's proposed stories are pathetic to say the least

So do we plan to blame all the DNA snafus on the same person(s) or should everybody just re-do any DNA related testing done in GC?

Well I think Sharon baby is going to give them problems especially if it's not Nick. I was going to say I don't think they took a DNA test yet. But seeing how DNA testing are in GC. It best if Sharon pick a name out a hat & hope she picks out Nick name.

Here's a clip from Monday's US episode. Could they be ANYMORE OBVIOUS that Mary Jane is Patti Williams? For a good while now, they've been so obvious about it, and it takes a lot of the suspese away from the storyline. This show has literally been hitting us over the head with this Mary Jane as Patti crap for a while now. It's partly writing like this that is turning me off this show.

    • I can't speak for Sonni, but I thought Annie came off as neurotic from very early on. That's just how Cynthia Watros plays her parts, and the writing went along. I don't think Claire was mentally ill - they claimed she had a brain tumor, didn't they? I am never sure just why they made the effort given that she was leaving anyway.
    • @DeeVee Claire is a perfect example. So many women came to Springfield as competent, smart, and talented professionals. Then they’d attract a so-called “good guy,” get dumped, and spiral into complete chaos. What always strikes me is how clearly it plays like a male fantasy—yet it was written and sold to a female audience.  I'm not a content expert, but I don't think cis gendered women fantasize about losing control of their mental faculties in response to an orgasm.
    • I just watched some parts of an episode of GL where Roger has just been shot by Holly. Rita then admits to Hillary that Roger raped her. Kasdorf is such a fantastic actress. I wish there were more of her work available.
    • -- Alex Alegria has almost a full sleeve tattoo on one arm and a large tatt on one pec. I see no indication that the show is covering up his ink,
    • Didn't Carrie2 even seduce a minor? Ick. Oh, yeah, and she even tried to seduce Alan, but this was his post-prison era when he was trying to prove to everyone he had changed. It's funny that of all people he didn't go for it. Wait. Josh had an affair with Vanessa? Or she just thought he did? I know people always say "it's just a soap" but the way mental illness is portrayed on soaps (and that goes for pretty much all of them) has always been not great, especially PPD. They practically turned Claire into The Joker. She also was trying to seduce men. (I notice that now Mary Ryan Munisteri is listed as co HW with Ryder in the 1986 episodes, Claire has calmed down a lot. Never thought her GL career was very good but seems like she tried to course correct that a bit).
    • sss Ms. Tunie is a goddess. I feel all the anger, pride, sadness, arrogance, dignity, fear, love, and other emotions in everything she does as Anita.
    • You're right. People like me who stuck with her, did so because of her history. The show just skated her along with no story,  no goal, no aim. Right again! This is who I forgot before. When you describe her, it makes me appreciate her more. Thinking back I loved Mandy.
    • Maybe Guza is becoming Y&R Head writer and Jilly will be named EP! Remember CBS installed Latham as consultant and later Mal Young, both of whom took over the show. Of course, they each got credit during the consulting days.
    • Don't forget Carrie, who as Carrie2 was screwing everything in pants, and PPD Reva, who to either get back at Josh for his supposed affair with Vanessa (or just to prove she's more desirable than Van) tries to screw half the male population.
