but that still leaves the fact that they need to explain how come they thought he was dead anyway!

"Phillip's body" was butchered beyond logical recognition during the accident, but it was actually a homeless youth that was stuck by Phillip's driving car, who Phillip switched places with.

Though Phillip sustained minor injuries, realizing that he would probably be charged with manslaughter, and thus be away from his family for a long time, he decided to leave the country and head to Australia to assume a new identity. This was all coupled with the fact he had severe emotional problems and was never comfortable with his life, or the fact he was a young father.

Did Kay not switch the babies and dream it (oh dear!).

That could work--how should could she be, anyway? And then Cane swooped in, the fraud that he is.

BUT... What the hell does PHILLIP have to do with him? Is it that he just wanted a 'mole' in his family, to keep tabs on them? And why is he called Langley?

No, no long lost twins please. I'm barely stomaching this line that was crossed by Y&R . A clear return from the dead story whilst I watch. Can anybody name previous return from the dead stories on Y&R?

I know Sheila has been one a few times over

Victor, Sheila, Isabella, and Nick come to mind. But we knew they weren't really dead.

I think we saw Phillip die in the hospital. I remember Nina, Kay, and Jill being around his body, and Jill saying his name in some type of awful primal sound of grief.

So what are the theories on Cordelia's paternity. How could Cane not be eliminated as the father?

Honestly? I'd go with that. That whole "storyline" made even less sense than Kay-is-Jill's-mother. Kay was just drunk and hallucinating? Fine with me. It's not like I ever trusted that phony, Sylvia Browne, on "Montel" anyway.

Sylvia Brown....ugh.

:o:o:o I think you just came up with a solution I would be PERFECTLY happy with. I mean, just absolutely happy.

Oh Lord...another hole. This DNA testing facility should be put out of business.

Bill Bell never did 'back from the dead'.

In fact, that story was hardly ever used until the 80's.What happened to change that?

I guess the higher profile of soaps made certain actors more 'valuable' and desirable.

It led to some ridiculous storylines.

If that is what happened, then somebody needs to put that scene up on YouTube like NOW. I would give anything to see Jess Walton play that "awful primal sound of grief."

That's exactly what came to mind. I want to see that it sounds awesome

It is possible Phillip sent Cane to act as a mole for him. Anyway, Cane somewhere has a secret stash of Phillip III's hair follicles, and swabs that touched Phillip III's mouth.

Or, Chole just paid the DNA lab to give her these results. I mean she did pay a nurse to lie to Cane about how long she had been pregnant.

I don't remember a hosital scene with Phillip. I am sure there wasn't but I could be wrong. Alvin, do you remember??

I think with Delia's paternity test, all the DNA tests, that Cane is somehow related to Jill. Unless...Cane was still in contact with P3 and got his DNA...oh my head hurts.

So what if Cane is Phillip's lover?? :o It just popped in my head.

I said that a while back that they are lovers. I would love to see a love scene with them. & I want to hear Cane call Philip 3rd uncle during a sexual moment. I bet it's hotter then anything Cane did with CkLily.
