I could go for Lauralee (Brooks) coming back (and possibly making the moves on Jack, while Billy heats up with the returning Diane), as well as Christine returning and starting a legal practice with Greg.

But I'd need Snapper for two reasons: 1) to run Genoa City Memorial, and 2) to help older fans become emotionally invested in his kids; specifically, Jennifer and Chuck (McGuire).

And I'd need Leslie, so Brooks would have his mother as a sounding board; and Lance Prentiss, so Brooks can have an imposing father-figure, and we can have a third wheel in the Phyllis/Brooks/Lance triangle.

Oh, and I have to have Liz Foster for occasional appearances. To start with, she'd have to help Jill get to the bottom of her parentage. (Here's one solution: she's Bill Foster's daughter, but by another woman.)

Hmmm.... Laurie/Jack: Yes. Diane/Billy: Sounds good!

Love Snapper running Genoa City Memorial--would love it if Olivia got involved in it in some way. He could become a father figure to her. And Liz Foster is always welcome.

Not sure if Brooks, Leslie and Lance would make things a little too convoluted, though.

made amends to his victims

Helping his relatives constantly escape the law is NOT making amends to his victims.

To be fair everything on GL bores me so maybe she's a rose in a stinky room.

And the thing is, not only does he do it in the legal sense, but also in the criminal sense. That makes it worse.

I want him to be Victor's evil minion again.

I never liked Michael as Victor's bitch... I preferred them as enemies.

Then he gets on the moral high horse & bleats that his relatives are just misunderstood & the only reason people don't like them is because they don't like low class people.

Then Michael can be Jack's evil minion. I don't really care as long as he's evil. I don't watch soaps for the good people generally. For the most part I like to watch people be wicked and have fun doing it. :P

Yes, that I like! And, also Diane's minion, when she comes back again. And occasional sex slave.

I wish it would last. This is sort of like the Y&R version of Daytime Dish, except not as nasty.

Not sure if Brooks, Leslie and Lance would make things a little too convoluted, though.

Brooks would come to GC to buy Jack, Nick and Sharon's shares of RS (after Nick and Sharon reunite, of course, and shortly before they decide to leave town and start a new life together) and prove to his father that he could run a company without his influence. Phyllis won't sell, though, because she has Summer's welfare to think about. And even though sparks do fly between Phyllis and Brooks, once Lance returns suddenly, and she sees the dynamics between father and son, she pulls back. She went down that road with Nick and Victor, and she just isn't up to it again. Yet, Leslie, who is also concerned about Brooks, thinks Phyllis is actually good for his son, as she sees how he has bonded with her and with her daughter (ironic, since Phyllis is like Lorie in many ways). But the more time Lance spends with Phyllis, the more attracted he finds himself to Phyllis, too!

Does that sound too convoluted?

I am talking in the past with Christine. You have to admit Michael has changed for the better. Yes, he covers for his family due to a major guilt complex but he is not actively trying to hurt others. And again, MAB has continued using Michael in the same way LML used him and that is nothing more than a prop to his family. She could move him away from the family, but she doesn't. She is more fascinated with writing for Kevin and Gloria and using Michael to clean up their messes and using Lauren as a comfort to Michael. MAB needs to change the way they are written.
