I hate the way Cane calls Lilly "sweetheart" with a fatherly tone in his voice, it also reminds me of how Victor calls some women "sweetheart" but he doesn't really use a fatherly tone in the way Cane does. I am so tired of Cane and I hope if they aren't going to get rid of him that they find something else for him to do then be obsessed with a baby that isn't his, he just sucks the life out of any scene he's in.

But therein lies Cane's hope for being an appealing character....if they turn him into a villain. He can do that...I'm sure of it.

It would be nice if they had Eva Marcille working hardcore with an acting coach during the time the Winters "story" isn't featured. There are times when I kinda like her and I find myself wishing she was a better actress. It's sad that this Winters storyline is such a hot mess.....

For all we know she is. But women who trade on their looks (starlets, models) -- men too, I guess -- often don't get the time to devote to developing their inner life. But it is precisely the inner life -- the dance behind the eyes during line readings; the remembered tone of voice from real pain -- that makes the best of these soap stars great. It is precisely why Clementine Ford will succeed brilliantly as Mac .. and why Kelly Kruger couldn't.

If they make Cane any more disturbing and "on a high horse," I might just start throwing stuff on my TV when he's on.

Cane is getting on my freaking nerves. When is he going to realize he's not the father? He's so delusional. I guess Chloe will have to take him to the Maury show and then he'll get his brain back.

Since this thread is already more than dicussion talk...

David Lago will be making a brief return in May as Raul. It's only supposed to be a short return.

I hope

he is related to Estella and Rafe. But it makes me wonder if this is (a) a chemistry test/test of whether he's still go chops, and (

B) whether it presages some crisis involving his best friend

JT Let us not forget, he always had love/crush for

Mac

What is that piano theme they used when Neil left his apartment? I got goose bumps when I heard the chord progression, but I can't remember why or when it played before...

LOL, "CBS Daytime. Nobody does brothers better."

Nia Peeples brought it yesterday. She BROUGHT it.

Of all the people to be fired from the Winters non-SL... it had to be her?

I know lots hate her on this board but I think she's done a stellar job. Even if she does know it.

NA is fantastic, I feel the same way, she rocked today!

Thanks to brimike for bringing this to my attention.

I'm so looking forward to this.

Raul, JT, Mac, and Billy

all represent a wonderful time in Y&R history for me. Can't wait to see them together again, albeit with recasts.
