Members wingwalker
Which is not at all what I said. If the ratings of a show is low enough, nothing else matters it will be canceled. If ratings are borderline (which Mindy Project is) other factors can help make it viable for another season.
Members Khan
See, this is why I believe networks are too eager sometimes to give "hot" shows multiple-year renewals. Just because "Glee" was in better shape (both in the ratings and in the overall quality) two years ago, that was no guarantee that things were going to stay that way. Members te.
What networks are doing multiple-year renewals? The worst thing I've heard is that they've contracted the players for a few more years (which can be broken). I've never heard of a network literally getting stuck with a such low-rated like Glee.
Members DRW50
HBO did with Game of Thrones and CBS did with Big bang Theory. The closest parallel to Glee is ABC and Drew Carey Show. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Drew_Carey_Show#Ratings
Members Khan
Didn't CBS give multiple-year renewals to "How I Met Your Mother," "The Big Bang Theory," and "Two and a Half Men"? Or do I have that wrong?
Members JackPeyton
I'm pretty sure they did.

Members dm.
I've sat through the season and surprisingly didn't hate it. It wasn't good per se, but you can keep it in the background while playing a game and not hate it. :'D

Members jcar03
Colfer twitter was hacked he is not leaving the show: http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/07/03/glee-chris-colfer-kurt-leaving/ You would think these news outlets would double check tweets or any other social media with managers/publicists since these things can be hacked.
Members cassadine1991
Are we sure? this reminds me of what happened with Brandon Buddy when he announced his exit from OLTL and later retracted saying he was hacked
Members te.
Could be. They've already said they're "discussing" the episode order, they could very well be having "discussions" with cast members too (ie, how do we make this as cheap as possible). I speculated in the Hieroglyph thread what sort of cuts the Fox execs would do next now that Kevin Reilly's gone and cutting down Glee seems like the logical next step... Members All My Shadows
No comment on the final season premiere? LOL Remember when this show was allowed to be on all season and brought in big numbers every time it came back from hiatus?
