February 10, 200916 yr Member Or maybe we're all just taking ABCD's usual over-the-top marketing when it comes to hints about "something that will blow you away" or "re-energize the show" or "getting back to character-driven stories" too literally once again. And we keep falling for it... It's probably, like, Maria. For Aiden. Edited February 10, 200916 yr by brimike
February 10, 200916 yr Author Member LOL true, what Pratt considers "reenergizing" might be complete opposite of who we think would reenergize Edited February 10, 200916 yr by Zendall Fan
February 10, 200916 yr Member Yeah..... it's probably Carlos...... that guy Greenlee dated for 2 seconds or something. Edited February 10, 200916 yr by Pine Charles
February 10, 200916 yr Member Yeah..... it's probably Carlos...... that guy Greenlee dated for 2 seconds or something. JUAN PABLO TOO! Although one of them is dead now. I always thought they were the same character, so I can't remember which. Edited February 10, 200916 yr by brimike
February 10, 200916 yr Member Please not Dixie. I know that's unpopular, but I can't deal with it again. I kind of think Liza has a LOT of potential and with the right casting, it's got potential.
February 10, 200916 yr Member Please not Dixie. I know that's unpopular, but I can't deal with it again. I'm sure Cady is barred from a permanent return given how she recently revived the matters regarding Dixie's death and her firing. Surely, she wouldn't do that after getting rehired.
February 10, 200916 yr Member I always preferred Robin Mattson's version of Janet. She was so much more multi-faceted, and could impose a credible threat when the story called for it. Collins created her, but - as has been said here - her Janet was a scenery-chewing, shrieking cartoon. I haven't found her menacing since she pretended to be Natalie and, apart from that time, I could never take her Janet seriously. That said, I'm not sure Janet would energize an entire cast. Dixie would be a character worthy of that comment... perhaps so would Skye or Liza. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Surely, she wouldn't do that after getting rehired. Exactly what I was thinking, but didn't want to get jumped on for saying it Sorry but IMO she is burning her bridges. I admire her for speaking out against that storyline(Madden in a box), but I can't see ABC looking too kindly on it
February 10, 200916 yr Member On Liza, here is a very recent interview with Marcy Walker-Smith: Edited February 10, 200916 yr by AMCHistory
February 11, 200916 yr Member I'm glad Marcy seems happy. She was right to leave AMC. Isn't SB dubbed in foreign countries? Will people be weirded out hearing her natural voice? They make it sound like the cast is going to break out into a spontaneous cheer at any given second. I'm not sure any return can help stem the morale loss one must get with the current level of storytelling and budgetary woes at AMC.
February 11, 200916 yr Member It could plausibly be just about anyone, depending on what Pratt would consider "reenergizing." I hope it's Dixie or Liza since imo they would have the most effect on the other characters, especially David, Tad, Adam and JR for starters. Brooke has been gone so long and her family is pretty much written out. Skye could be interesting. Imo, Janet has run her course but she would liven up Amanda's pregnancy plot and give David a run for his money. It's funny how we all jumped the conclusion that it's a female. I hope it's not because I found him so insufferable when he hooked up with Babe, but it could be Jamie. Edited February 11, 200916 yr by Steve
February 11, 200916 yr Member Janet would be awesome.. she always brings an excitement and a spark to AMC. Even Dixie (alive!) would be great.. but they botched her return too many times.

She's over the top and more comedic than anything. Mattson's Janet was more multi layered and played the crazy more psychotic and cunning With that said I hope Skye returns
February 11, 200916 yr Member With Janet's recent returns was "the writer" always at the helm? I seem to remember Janet making a cameo when B&E were writing.....a scene with Richie, correct?
February 11, 200916 yr Author Member That's Janet though, I expect her to be a bit cartoonish, and this show needs some comedy, it's too dark almost every episode as it is
