Heyyyyy!!!! Anita and Chaka in the house! LAST SEASON, I said that I betcha they were on cacklin on the phone together when Tim Urban and Siobhan Magnus f!cked up their songs on R&B night. My friend was trying to convince me that he can't sing, yet here I am playing video after video of him singing live. Last night's show was pretty boring, which sucks because I love Carole King and her songs. I wasn't really impressed with anyone except (go figure) Casey. Randy didn't love it saying the duet thing wasn't the best choice and he needs to stick to being a Luther and not a Chris Brown which he is not. Agreed. I remember Archuleta did Stand By Me, and (supposedly) his father DEMANDED that Idol let David sing a bar of Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston, since it samples Stand By Me. And so they let him. And it sounded bad. I like the theme of the night, the whole contrast of now and then, though it invites the same old lame old boring "Current music sucks!!!" comments to clog up message boards and what-not. I hate how Iovine was all jazzed about Haley singing an unreleased Gaga song, yet the judges massacred her for singing an unreleased Gaga song. Was she supposed to say "Jimmy, you wrong! I ain't doin' it! Ain't gonna do it! You'gon have to make me!"??? Then they would have massacred her for going against an "expert." Failicious. But like you said, they would have panned her for goingg against Jimmy. But either way I thought she sounded FANTASTIC. And I love her. It's funny because years ago they "ran into" Justin and Kelly at a hotel/airport or something when David was little and the dad's all, "Sing And I Am Telling You for them!" And of course little David did. Total camera whore stage dad. Yeah that sucks about Hayley I feel like she got set up.
