It's odd that they suddenly want him and are using 2010 as a possible reason. He's been quite loyal to TrumPutin but that probably means little to them and he's already served his purpose or at least WikiLeaks has. But it's also possible that the IC might hope to use this to get him to talk.

More of Trump selling the health and welfare of the majority of the nation for  cash in his pockets:

Lewis said that he never saw Sanders during the Civil Rights Movement. Since "Bernie marched with MLK" was a big talking point for the Berniacs that was considered an "attack" and Bernie's cult said that Lewis was calling him a liar.

Well, it's true that Obama won Omaha in 2008, but the district has been gerrymandered since then, which is why HRC lost here last year.   It's technically a non partisan race anyway and until recently I was actually thinking of voting for Jean Stothert (and did vote for her in the primary). That's because when I call her "mayor's hotline" to get a pothole fixed, it gets fixed. When the city tries to raise property taxes 20% in one year she gets it lowered to a more reasonable amount.  Does it get any more banal then that?

Abortion is irrelevant to this race as are most of the big ideological issues. In fact, I'm hard pressed to differentiate between Mello and Stothert, since both of them are about cutting taxes. Yet Stothert is for a street car project and Mello wants to cap the restaurant tax, which I see as kind of a luxury tax that should stay.

BUT then Stothert called in Scott Walker and f*ck that. If we are going to have some pathetic little ideological war over Omaha, Nebraska

then I'm going to have to side with my (losing) team. Unfortunately for Heath Mello having Bernie come in is going to hurt him a lot more then help him in my estimation. Hell, Jean features Bernie's endorsement in her ads.  Omaha is a lot more liberal then people who haven't lived here think, but not Bernie Sanders liberal, and it's going to be awhile before metro growth balances out the gerrymandering.

    • On GL we only saw young GA's Philip in very short shorts but on AMC we saw GA's Alec McIntyre in a speedo.  But, on GL, an older GA/Philip is having sex with Olivia in a hotel room where Bruce Barry was directing & he & she both end up down to nothing but black underwear & at one point his bicep is covering her entire upper body so it appears that she is naked. I think they ended up on the floor between the bed & the wall. That was when I realized that Grant's body was better than Steve Burton's. (Olivia was cheating. Her husband Alan was in the hospital.) It is notable that I can speak with any insight AT ALL about these bodies since that is not the team I play for! LOL
    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
