Members DramatistDreamer
He shouldn't have run as a Democrat then. He should've stood behind what he truly believed in on a platform that he believed in, to represent a party that he believed in. At least Nader ran on a different platform because he truly believed that he was not of either Democrat or Replublican party. At this point, I have more respect for Nader than for Bernie.

Members NothinButAttitude
Damn! I just hope the turnout remains strong (or even stronger) for Ossoff in June.
Members Roman
He came up 1.4 points short. he performed very well IMPO. ad now he has two months to blast Trump and link the republican candidate to him. Fox News is preparing to cut ties with its biggest star, Bill O’Reilly, according to people close to the situation. A final decision on Mr. O’Reilly’s fate could come as early as the next several days, the people said. Mr. O’Reilly, host of “The O’Reilly Factor,” has been ensnared in a sexual-harassment scandal related to previously undisclosed settlements he and Fox News paid to women who worked on or appeared on his program.
Members Khan
I love ya, Bernie, but...have a seat. And I KNOW better than to get my hopes up, but man, it would be so sweet to see Bill O'Reilly gone from Fox News. (Next on the hit list: Sean Hannity.)
Members marceline
From here on out I'm done watching election results in real time. When I started looking at Georgia's returns Ossoff had 60 percent. Now everybody better strap in because the right wing is about to deploy every underhanded tactic they can in this race. There were already voting machines stolen a few days ago. As for Bernie, I just hope he follows in the footsteps of Ron Paul into well deserved irrelevance. Members JaneAusten
I don't know if anyone has read about the new book on Clinton's campaign but the NYT has a recap of it https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/17/books/shattered-charts-hillary-clintons-course-into-the-iceberg.html?_r=0 "As described in “Shattered,” Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook — who centered the Clinton operation on data analytics (information about voters, given to him by number crunchers) as opposed to more old-fashioned methods of polling, knocking on doors and trying to persuade undecideds — made one strategic mistake after another, but was kept on by Clinton, despite her own misgivings." I find this stmt interesting because Clinton was pretty much lauded for her ground game, or at least I thought she was, and the data analytic team was the same one Obama was praised for during his 2 campaigns.

Members Eric83
Trump running to Twitter trying to take credit for the results. This is a RED seat that shouldn't have even been up for grabs but it was because of YOU. Idiot.

Members JaneAusten
I am not sure what anyone is taking credit for. Ossoff won almost 49% of the vote. In that district. He was polling around 45 the day before. I know people want every win but really Democrats need to temper a bit. Most were predicting he wasn't going to get over 50% yesterday. As for the GOP, combined their percentage was 47% I believe. So Chaffetz is not running for re-election. He's either going to try for Hatch's seat or Governor I'll bet. https://www.buzzfeed.com/alexislevinson/utah-congressman-jason-chaffetz-will-not-seek-re-election?utm_term=.ygQ2qNnR0y#.hv53QxVM7D Edited April 19, 2017 by JaneAusten
