That blonde bobblehead Kayleigh and mouthbreather Jeffrey Lord on CNN looking so gleeful while the rest look defeated is just infuriating.

Yup ...not surprised. The rest of the panel said America is in trouble with Trump as president because as one analyst said he is a racist bigot.

Not to minimize...any of this, but it is unbelievably surreal to now live in a country where Ivanka "brand? what brand?" Trump will have major influence on national and global politics.

Trump's closing ad was essentially a clarion call for anti-Semitism. I wonder if those Jewish Republicans who kept their mouths shut for their own agenda this year will ever speak up.

And Melania as First Lady?? What a joke!

I understand why people are afraid, but this is not going to turn into Nazi Germany. It's going to be ugly, but there is not going to be systematic murder. Our President does not have anywhere near that kind of power. No matter how much I don't like the Republicans here is no reason to think they have murder on their minds. More people will probably be deported and it will be harder for immigrants to come here, but that is not the same as mass murder.

I don't know about that, when all these people have access to these assault weapons..

And they are in a panic as reported by CBS a few minutes ago.

Let's be clear, for some of us, America has always been hard. Even in the best of times, there have been unarmed Black men and women being shot and killed in the streets, their cars and even in their homes. Life has been "no crystal stair".

I will repeat again, Trump has NORMALIZED hate speech so now people feel free to say nasty things and if his rallies are a sign of what's to come, physically assault people!

Mass murder may be an exaggeration but many people claimed that having Obamacare saved their lives, if that is repealed, you could have people not going to the doctor and in turn, not being treated for treatable illness with fatal results.

This is about people's lives. Many people didn't survive the Bush years. Trump has spoken that he won't hesitate to weaponize his administration.  Somene who's been known to say '...beat the hell outta them'. Sorry but I don't feel in any way good about this.

I can imagine. Plus all of the refugees who are going to be turned away. Then we have issues like climate change, Obamacare, so many reasons to be depressed tonight.

And now the Aussie news anchors are panicking and saying that might Trump is going to lead us (Australia) into war and that he might pick a war just to prove a point. They're also saying that it's triggered worldwide financial market turmoil and that it's going to be a worldwide depression. This is just so depressing.

I know that's true, but at the same time I'm not sure I believe Sanders or Biden would have won either.  He said some nasty thing about Hillary, but he didn't flat out bully her the same way he did his Republican opponents. Apparently his staff told him that would come off badly. He would have been free to go all out of a male opponent.

I don't know, I guess I do think this was like Brexit. People wanted change no matter the cost.

You are dreaming if you don't think Hillary and her investigation didn't hurt her brand in the mind of voters.

Joe or Bernie could have cut into Trump's source of power: white middle/working class men.

Well I bet ISIS is just chomping on the bit now. This is going to help escalate their recruiting across the world tremendously. After all the anti muslim rhetoric, the 1.3 billion muslims in the world are just going to love Americans even more.

I never said that. Anyone who reads this thread consistently knows I've been skeptical of Hillary. The problems go back far past the email investigation. What I said is I don't think Bernie (who I liked) or Biden would have necessarily won.  Not that we'll ever know for sure now, but let's not forget Bernie is a Jew. Not just a Jew, but almost certainly an atheist (as am I) and I doubt he was going to lie about that, which polls consistently show is a no go. Hillary never pressed him on it in the primaries, which is why it wasn't an issue.

Trump is projected to win 57 electoral votes.

Such a shame. Democrats chose the wrong candidate.
