Everything about Bernie Sanders is a contradiction.

He did toss in a line about himself and Clinton not being very far apart on many issues. But he refuses to concede. I have no idea if he's still going on, literally every network I checked cut away.

British MP dead after shooting and stabbing attack. It looks like it might be connected to the Brexit campaign going on at the moment.

I read about this earlier today and even hours later it makes me feel so sick. The words "senseless killing" are sometimes overused, but I don't know what else to say here. It was a violent, brutal death. It's like something from a film. There was even an old man there who tried to stop it and was also injured in the process. This woman seems to be what any politician should be - principled, intelligent, willing to fight for her beliefs. And she was murdered as a result.

Bernie's webcast - which he missed the filibuster for - is just his stump speech. Again. Some more. Oh, and refusing to concede.

"To those relatively few elected officials who have the courage to stand with us, I say thank you." God.

Well, MSNBC has had enough, they've cut away.

I read that most networks cut away about 15 minutes in, when they realized it wasn't a concession speech.  At this point, I do think it's going to take Sanders some time to pull away entirely from the notion of Presidential politics, it's just a shame that he's unable to make the transition away in a timely manner, as it makes him look as if what strength and momentum he had, is going to have to be forcibly removed from his grasp, and that's currently what is happening.  Exhibit A is Raúl Grijalva, who was one of Sanders' most ardent supporters, pulling away and publicly endorsing Clinton. Some article/op-ed that I read surmised that Sanders' ability to set an agenda for the party is losing steam because of his insistence to pretend as if he didn't get 3 million votes less than HRC and that had he conceded in a dignified manner already, he would've had more of a basis to help set the overall agenda but not at this point as he desperately clings.  I'm not ready to say that he no longer has any influence, I think he still has some, but I do believe that it becomes more possible with each passing day.

My thoughts go out to the children, husband and loved ones of Jo Cox.  I hope that Britain resists the vortex of fear, antipathy and enmity that it seems to be tangling with, not just in terms of the Leave/Remain but the issues that surround it.  Come to think of it, I hope the same for America (North, South, Central, etc).

House Trump is now deep in the hole, and CNN reports it is facing a funding emergency - it can't even scrounge up 100K.

This man has lost his damn mind. not even 100 grand? he did it to himself.

1. This seems odd, why doesn't he just donate it to himself?

2. Yay!

Two reasons: One, because he's cheap and never likes putting up his own money when he can con it out of others. This goes back to his long days in real estate in NY, back to his casino fraud in Vegas. A million examples.

And two, because as Mark Cuban and others have said, Trump is far less rich than he claims. His liquid assets are small. He gets by on his brand, con games, pyramid schemes like Trump University and calculated bankruptcies.

Ah, now we've reached the part of the program where Donnie looks for other people to blame for his failures. It took longer than I thought.

That's what he's always done, though.

This was a coup by Paul Manafort, who is considered the saner and more savvy party who is trying to get Trump in line with the GOP and the convention. Supposedly Trump's kids forced it.

^ I'm not surprised. There has been wall to wall Trump coverage. He's been given so much free media it's sickening.

It's awful and MSNBC is the worst offender.   I had it on in the background today and first it was that guy Trump fired gave comments.    Then they spent hours repeating it again and again as if it was breaking news.  They've been doing this for a year and the only way that channel will knock Trump off its schedule is if there is a massacre, and then they will try and find a way to bring it back to him anyway.    Muhammad Ali I guess removed Trump for a couple of days.
