They're weak at core. When they get the same tactics used in predominantly Black cities used on them - which is already starting - they'll run.

I hope you're right. But at the same time these are people who are growing increasingly desperate in their attempts to hold on to their superiority. I wouldn't put anything past them.

And if something serious does happen (which I sincerely hope it won't) then I hope that Trump and his cronies are held accountable for their part. They've done nothing but encourage this and drive this development.

Umm, what...?

Wow, never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would ever hear that sentence said out loud! Well, I guess it's nice to have it acknowledged where these people find their inspiration....

You're right to be worried, although to be honest I'm more worried about lone wolf attacks. I have had my criticisms of Romney, and I have little tolerance for the deification of him in t he last few years, but I was genuinely concerned when I saw that someone confronted him yesterday in a setting that could have been very dangerous.

I keep thinking back to the hysteria whipped up by the GOP and their money men when Obama was elected, which led to Gabby Giffords and several other people being shot.

I am too. I think we're going to see both parties targeted.

@Vee as you were saying. (I know there is some pushback to this as well)

Oh, they're all laying at his feet. But Schumer's counter speech was very, very good. And the punditry later on about how we got here will disassemble Mitch a bit.

Trump’s comeuppance-Mitch McConnell and Mike Pence turning against him, has played out like some William J. Bell story, a slow burn for almost five years all culminating in one moment.

I love it. Today is a glorious day.
