Don Lemon can be crazy dramatic himself but his initial non-verbal reaction just cracks me up:

I'm not sure what to think of this deal.

To me it's a bum deal. Most of the Democrats who are going to lose will lose even with extra time to campaign.

My guess is McConnell threatened them.

^ Well, I think Don was mostly right, but so much about what he said was incredibly sad, especially how is mother would be embarrassed. That's not the right word. He's right though "we are watching someone's demise".

Threatened him? GMAB. Schumer is a willing accomplice. That's pretty obvious at this point. He's gotten a lot himself out of this presidency and it was his aggressive push that helped move the administration towards moving the embassy to Jerusalem. I'm not a Greenwald fan, but damn he's right, the senate agrees on far more than they disagree on including the monstrous military giveaways.

One more before I say goodnight. This video is just insane.  Talk about embarrassing.  All he cares about is money.

Threatened him with various punishments in Congress and from the White House, and so on, not with kneecaps. Schumer is too passive but this just seems very convenient to me, especially after all the bruising high-profile fights the GOP has already had over nominees.

I guess maybe the handful of red state Democrats who actually have any chance of winning reelection could have also asked him to agree.

Well, I gave up trying to watch the clip w/ Don Lemon's reaction from "CNN Tonight."  Apparently, (Kan)Ye is just too damn out there for my poor iMac.

It was really sad.  It was also a little contradictory.  I agreed with him that it was too hard to watch the whole thing, but not that it was an embarrassment to (Kan)Ye's deceased mother or AA people in general.  We were watching mental illness on display as some kind of sick entertainment.

We should be used to that by now, though.  After all, Trump is still president. ;)

I avoided the entire spectacle. Didn't watch one bit of video and skipped over any reference of Kanye or Trump, whom I've both blocked on my social media.

So strange how the Republicans/conservatives used to attack the Democrats over how many celebrities they were seen in the company of.  Now you have the likes of Kid Rock and Kanye in the Oval office.

I just have no desire to witness this slow-moving train wreck play out in front of me.  Excuse me, while I avert my gaze.

Kanye West is not far away from a fatal drug overdose or bizarre accident. I'm really not trying to be mean, but he's got mental problems and is the type that will eventually do harm to himself like other troubled celebrities have.
