May I ask who said that, so I can scorn them for all eternity?

It's inside Shyne Coldtrain Jr.'s tweet, which Vee posted upthread.  He quoted Jawny Mathis, who referred to the CNN pundit that said Ford was more credible than Hill, because she projected vulnerability where Hill projected strength and poise.

It's been my experience that the LAST thing a Black woman will ever do is appear vulnerable before white people.  Not when we are no longer chained and bound to the plantations, begging massa not to beat or rape us.  Huh-uh, not gonna do it.

I've known what CNN is all about for years now.

That insinuation that somehow Prof. Hill is less worthy of empathy than Prof. Blasey Ford speaks to what we as black women have known all along.  According to some, we are more likely to be sexualized at earlier ages, more likely to be stereotyped as impervious to being hurt or feeling pain.

The KKK's entire ethos was to protect white women so they are seen as worthy of protection, while we black women are not.

Soledad O'Brien can speak to the lack of representation of blacks behind the camera at CNN and it shines through repeatedly.  I cannot emphasize enough how glad I am that I cut the cord about 8 years ago.  CNN does some effective reporting but their staff is severely limited.

The irony of Rachel Mitchell questioning Blasey Ford about who paid for her polygraph and other legal fees when I don't remember anyone questioning Kavanaugh about his debts, specifically that $200,000 debt as well as who paid it.

And her lawyers shut it down fast.

The GOP is so blinkered that they can't conceive of this as anything but a game, so they rely on conspiracy theory questioning to play to the base. But it is playing horribly on TV. This is a complete wreck for them.

I always say, where's there smoke, there's fire; and there's a whole lotta smoke in that "baseball tickets debt."

What a heart-wrenching day. We've been watching here at work and one of the women had to get up and leave the room in the middle of Dr. Ford's opening statement.

It's also bringing back memories of watching Anita Hill live on TV and how gut wrenching that was. The optics are almost worse IMO here. The angles of Mitchell with the men all behind and around her is horrid. I find her interrogating Dr. Ford and her agreeing to do this incredibly offensive in particular when she claims to be such a champion for victims.  But what's really bad is how Grassley has cut off the prosecutor he brought in repeatedly.

If that had been Mama Khan, she would have whipped out the funeral programs.  Color AND black-and-white.

Jennifer Rubin knows exactly why they are obsessing over polygraphs. This is about clinging to any conspiracy they can to have a little cover for what they are going to make happen regardless of today's result.
