All of this talk about how supposedly armed authority figures would make schools safer but the armed deputy assigned to Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School hid behind a column and never entered the school!

 This is deflection and hysteria from the NRA, knowing just what their audience wants to hear, but I do agree with one point - the media loves this stuff and most of their posturing about how to stop school shootings is just that.

The posturing on CNN has felt especially false to me, and some of it, like Chris Cuomo pushing a story that turned out to be wrong, just ended up helping those who are against gun control.

welp, Trump just said there are wonderful people in the NRA who only want to protect this nation. 

and....two schools, one here in St. Louis, the other in East St. Louis, Ill., had bomb threats called in....apparently, kids are calling in the threats to get out of school early. 

Just saw that Rick Gates is expected to plead guilty.

Yeah we had two schools with threats happen in the last few days, both schools and ones in that district were closed today
