Trudeau seems like a pretty happily married guy but then his parents did at one time also and we see where that relationship went.

I've never found Ivanka that gorgeous. I think her height is a definite advantage and I have always thought she seemed intelligent, but I now think she's also bought and sold and yeah I do now believe her only value to her father is to be pimped out. I don't buy she exerts any influence. I also don't believe her marriage to Kushner is any more than a meeting of businesses. She's allegedly reported to have had her own dalliances before and since she's been married.

I don't really believe that she is some type of gift to be bought and sold mostly because with all the leaks going around and the many scandals about his personal life last year, we would have heard about it by now. If she was throwing herself here, there and everywhere it wouldn't be a secret and I doubt she'd be doing it so obviously as that photo either.

I do think that their relationship doesn't have enough boundaries because she is obviously his favorite child and he uses her to "prove" to the world what a big man he is and also to hurt his other children.

Right now, there are at least 12 states with bills pending in their state legislatures to restrict voter registration access and/or restrict or eliminate early voting and it's mostly based on the lie of 'massive' voter fraud that the Trump administration continues to propogate.

You can check to see if your state is listed in this article. The title is a bit misleading because clearly voter suppression efforts were already underway during the 2016 Presidential election.

Yep. I feel sorry for all of his children on some level.  Being raised by a narcissist is deeply damaging.  As far as looks go I think Ivanka was a very pretty little girl, but she's had enough surgery to wipe all the character from her face at this point.

People losing fingers trying to get from the US to Canada. This is just tragic.

But he didn't really raise them right. They were raised for the most part by their mother Ivana. I thought the boys actually hated their father, and Ivanka herself was rumored to try to stay connected to her dad by phone calls she made from school and he basically wanted nothing to do with the kids. And then all the kids sort of made themselves barriers to protect their mom from him after the divorce; Now all this is damaging, but it would be nice to think that they got something from their mother. It seems at the end of the day they didn't and it became trying to endear themselves to their father.

I think it's hard to know what really happened. Either way he is their Dad and it's clear he's pretty manipulative. The way Ivanka brags about the fact the 45 always took her calls is just sad. As if that isn't the absolute bare minimum a parent could do. Remember how during the campaign all his children were asked who the favorite was and they all said Ivanka? I'm sure it was great for 10 year old Barron to hear that. Plus children should not have to protect their mother, it's the parent's job to protect them.  No one will convince me that Ivana is some hero in all this, she choose that POS to procreate with.

And yeah, there are a lot of people I feel a lot more sorry for then the Trump kids, but being rich does not protect people from the damage done by awful parents.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
