I wish I felt the same way, but I feel that he will still win even if he flubs all the debates (which I highly doubt will happen). That's because Obama is getting all the breaks in Ohio, and he is still ahead there even as he falters in the popular vote and in several other swing states. While it is possible for Romney to win without carrying Ohio, it is an extraordinarily difficult task, as he would have to win North Carolina (which I am pretty confident he will win), Florida, Virginia, and just about every small swing state in order to get to 270.

Agreed Max, I don't think any of the debates matter as far as election day goes, but Obama IS killing it tonight.

Kudos to the President so far! He is engaged, enthusiastic, and rebutting every one of Romney's lies. The President rocks! Tonight anyway.

I just cant with Romney..his fake grin...ugh...I have a feeling if I were a kid selling lemonade in front of my house for a quarter he'd only give me a penny for it.

LOL! Even Candy Crowley can't take Romney's lies and stepped in to correct him on yet another one. Ah, what a tangle web we weave,..

What state is he even talking about? Massachusetts, where he is something like15 points behind the President?

Yes, I believe so. I wish we could hear from residents from his state...cause all this my state has done this and done that is driving me up the wall.

Obama has been fabulous tonight. He is the President fighting for the working class, women, and other marginalized groups. I am glad that Biden's performance taught him that it is okay to give the knock punch to your opponent, to hold him accountable for him positions, and call him on his mendacity.

Hell, he is from Michigan and he doesn't have any chance of winning it either.

the moderator was awful. She had absolutely no control over the men and failed to keep things in line and going. I much preferred the woman who led the VP debate

Go, President, go! Rebut Romney's false attempt to define you.

Yes, yes, the President talking about the 47 percent! He mentioned his grandfather fighting in WW II.

Fabulous final statement from the President. Excellent!

I thought Candy Crowley was fine as moderator. She pushed back at Romney and most importantly she called him out on his lie which won her back any points she lost earlier, imo.

I think Romney crossed a line in regards to his comments about Obama's response to the Benghazi attack. Even if people don't like a president, they don't like when you disrespect them on foreign policy issues. There's a way to disagree with a president on foreign policy without being disrespectful. I don't think I have ever saw Obama as pissed as I did in that moment and his responses to Romney was perfect.
