Great post. You hit on all the things I loved about this episode. MTS was brilliant. I was laughing at Nikki and then a second later crying for her.

I loved MTS yesterday. She gave an absolutely spellbinding performance. Her last scene in the rain had me in tears!

I have to give Vail Bloom credit. I usually find her lacking but I really felt her fear today at the end when the doctor wanted to run more tests. I actually felt more emotion from her about the loss of Victor than from Adam. I like her in scenes with Doug Davidson and she really did look worn out today. I do care what happens to her I just wonder if Adam will be there for her or check put because he is not emotionally ready to deal with her health issues if they are serious.

VB is quickly becoming one of my faves.

Jeanne Cooper was fabulous and boy can she handle those phones. LOL. Her panic when she couldn't reach Nikki was palpable and you could see she was trying to hold it together for Nikki while still feeling sadness for Victor.

I can't add much to what everyone else has said (probably better than I could). What a great show. I didn't FF one minute and that 40 minutes or so went by soooo fast! JFE did an excellent job with the script. Today looks like the momentum is going to continue - can't wait!

Vail Bloom really has become the young standout actress, IMHO.

Okay - i love Lindsay McKeon and think she would be amazing on Y&R and as heather. Esp since Vailw as very much lacking acting skills at all when thos rumors came about. However not long after that she really started to improve, so i am happy.

Lindsay McKeon was supposed to play Heather? Really? Didn't know that.. But I like VB now, so I don't care.. Lindsay should go back to GL to play Marah.. I think he's needed there.

I thinka round Jan of this year it started going around. she was seen ons et and they had sent ehather out of town or soemthing like that.

Lindsay will NEVER go back to GL and i doubt they would ever take her back even if she wanted to. It didnt end well, at all.

Just watched today's episode.

Christian Le Blanc is immense. In fact everyone has stepped up.

No matter how irritating the story might be to some people, the scenes with Chloe and Cane are really watchable. I'm also now paying attention to everything Chloe says about her mum. Damn spoilers. lol...

As far as Adam is concerned "The King is dead, long live the king". They appear to have written him as being unfeeling. I hope we get a FULL explanation as to what he is doing and why...

Oh, and Go Karen! Where did that come from? "Too Classy!". Indeed. LOL

Too bad they didn't just have an episode featuring Nick desperately trying to get to his mother, while she sits drowning her sorrows and flashing back with Katherine over her love story with Victor, complete with video clips. They really should have left everyone else for Tuesday.

It actually crossed my mind that they could have easily done that. Just an episode with Nikki and Katherine talking and Katherine calling everyone from Neil to Paul to Nick (which she more or less did). A two-hander, with a couple of twists. But I was very happy with the breakdown anyway.

ITA. I loved VB, yesterday.

VB is great. Only thing missing is a personality for Heather.

I would say Colleen/Daniel/Amber storyline, Michael's father's storyline (is that really a storyline or is it finished now?) and Winters storyline are the weakest points.

Lane storyline would be the worst if it weren't for Elizabeth Hendrickson as Chloe.

She actually developed some sympathy from me today during the wedding scene with Cane. Not that it is hard since I'm not wowed over by that other pairing.

As for flashbacks, those seem to now be reserved solely for the Lame romance.

I'm actually really excited to watch the scenes tonight--I LOVE Chloe, and can't wait for it to all play out with her. She is the one thing that makes Cane worth caring about.

I loved the Paul and Heather scenes, and that's the first time I really have. VB has really stepped up--good for her! This is total speculation but does anyone else think Heather's illness is going to end up being some sort of cancer thing?
