Today is the birthday of actress Christopher Norris. She is probably most remembered from the soap operas as being the final Sarah Capice on The Edge of Night.

I don't know if she will be turning up on The Doctors, but it was 1967 (the year that they are showing) that she created the role of Penny Davis on The Doctors. I doubt that she was on the show for a very long period, either, because she said in an interview that she did not remember being on the show and that someone had to tell her that she had appeared on it.

I first remember her as Sally, the girlfriend of Tom Hughes on As the World Turns.

I love this show and Carolee Campbell's cheerfulness and humor is a welcome break from the Althea/Nick/Liz drama. Loved her first meeting with Steve!! I can't wait until he begins to get more screen time.

I love that the end credits include the full cast. So few shows credit enough of the actors that appear on their shows.

I have not seen Margaret DePriest yet as Mrs. Burger. Who is this character?

She is young Danny's social worker.

Liz reminds me SO much of a young Susan Walters & someone else I can't quite figure out yet. Her power of denial is incredible. When she was talking to Matt, all bubbly and sweet, but turned to the camera for a second looking devastated at what she guessed Matt wanted to say, it was a chilling moment.

"I haven't apologized yet, have I?"

"For what?"

"For trying to strangle you!"

"Oh, that!" DEAD

Matt just loves the sound of his voice, doesn't he? LOL

I was trying to think of who she reminded me of, and yes - she does really resemble Susan Walters both in looks and mannerisms. I wonder whatever happened to Pamela Toll.

I didn't know Norris appeared on ATWT. How long was she on?

My god, but I've fallen in love with this show. Steve's casual flirtation with Carolee today was all kinds of charming. And I simply don't think I can get enough of Matt & Maggie's playful snarking at one another.

I just watched the episode leading up to Christmas. Matt smoking the pipe was a 60's throwback. I liked the playful scene of Matt & Maggie wrapping presents and the tricycle.

Wrapping a tricycle with crepe paper! Too funny. I love little scenes like that.

Mrs Berger (Margaret DePriest) was also counselling Bill Winters re his adoption plans.

Yay - Steve comes back in the first episode. Can't wait to watch the rest!!
