I believe they were Gracie Harrison (Greta) and Ben Thomas (Jack).

Thanks!! You never see that many promos of The Doctors. Who were the actors in this clip?

Kathy Glass seemed to be a favorite of writer James Lipton and producer/writer/director Don Wallace.

She began her daytime television career on ABC's The Best of Everything. That show may have been a production of Twentieth-Century Fox Television. After its cancellation (which came briefly after its premiere), the trio worked for Twentieth-Century Fox on Return to Peyton Place (which aired on NBC). She was later replaced (and I think that Mr. Lipton was too. I don't know about Mr. Wallace.) in the role of Allison.

She then created the role of Jenny Woleck Siegel, R. N. on One Life to Live. Later, longtime producer for ABC Doris Quinlan (The Nurses, One Life to Live, All My Children) was replaced. She was hired by NBC to produce The Doctors, and she took Kathy Glass with her to The Doctors.

Kathy Glass was on a commercial that ran for a long time. I seem to recall that it was for a brand of vitamins, but I may be wrong about the product.

I have a Daytime TV article from 1977 regarding "Q" ratings for daytime stars. Apparently, this was the first year daytime actors and actresses were included in the ratings. Kathy Glass ranked #2 among daytime actresses behind Susan Seaforth Hayes and ahead of Jacqueline Courtney, Victoria Wyndham, and Denise Alexander.

IIRC, SOW or SOD interviewed her for their big "Where Are They Now?" issue several years ago, and in that interview, she talked about her new life working with prisoners.

I think she works with male prisoners, but I'm not sure if the ministry is involved.

I saw Kathy Glass on Return to Peyton Place and One Life to Live.

She was DEFINATELY my favorite Allison McKenzie and my favorite Jenny Woleck Siegel Vernon.

I just read that actress Kathy Bates had appeared on The Doctors. That is news to me. I remember her from both All My Children and One Life to Live. Who did she play on The Doctors.

Also, I read (maybe a year ago) that actress Valerie Harper had also appeared on The Doctors. I think that this was probably in the very early years before the story became serialized. Does anyone know anything about her appearance?

(I also read that Miss Harper was considered for a role in the movie version of West Side Story. I guess that her appearance on The Doctors was after that.)

A lot of well known daytime and primetime performers appeared on The Doctors when it was a daily and then weekly anthology.I'm sure a complete list would reveal some interesting names.

Aldrich family question: Stacy Wells Summers was Jason Aldrich's stepdaughter. Was Doreen Fleming Aldrich her mother, or was it another of Jason's ex wives?

From a summary posted earlier in the thread

After Matt, Nola began flirting with Jason but Jasonโ€™s estranged wife, Doreen arrived in town. She made plans with Kyle to build a childrenโ€™s wing dedicated to her late daughter Stacy.
