Not sure where this belonged as Liz Hubbard is also (probably better)known for ATWT but she did this primetime stint on her year off from 'The Doctors'

Wow, I totally do not recognize her there.

I know a good portion of the cast has since passed on, and there are only a handful still in the limelight like Alec Baldwin and Nancy Stafford, but it seems like the rest of the surviving cast has vanished without a trace. Or is that just my feeling?

Interesting reading in the 2007-2009 Archives about The Doctors. French Fan's synopses have information about some characters I've only seen in cast lists. Did everyone know:

Dawn Eddington [Roni Dengel] was Mike Powers' ex girlfriend. Dr. Chaing was her foster father.

Iris Fonteyn[Tanny McDonald] was married to a man named Brendan and dated Rex Everlee[Matthew Tobin].

Kitty Harris[Lynne Rogers] was a reporter.

Ted Kingston[Philip Kraus] was a lawyer.

Dr. McClintock[Gordon Rigsby] cared for Carolee when she had amnesia after Dr. Brandt[Gil Rogers] figured out who she really was.

Cappy Randall[Heywood Hale Broun] was an investigator.

Joe Turner[Robert Coppes] was a chaplain.

As I was reading, one of the synopses said that Dr. Alan Stewart[Gil Gerard]'s wife Margo[Mary Denham] had a mother named Ellie.

Could Ellie be Elinor Crane[Patricia Wheel]? Has anyone heard of the Ellie character?

What did you all think about the show's last major story starring Nancy Stafford in the unique dual role as mother and daughter? Quite a far cry from her character on Matlock later on. LOL

Did Nancy Stafford play two roles? I only remember that she was the mother who was posing as a much younger person.

Felicia (the mother) was posing as her daughter, Adrienne, who were both in love with the same man. Both roles, of course, were played by Nancy Stafford. They finally come "face to face" towards the end of the show as the "anti-aging serum" wears off. So there's Nancy Stafford in old age makeup in split screen opposite her normal looking self.

I thought that maybe it was reveled toward the end of the series that there were two of them (characters). I could not remember. My memory fades over the years. I tend to remember characters and performers a lot better than I remember plots.

I think there are still a few clips of the Adrienne/Felicia story on YT from late 1982. In any case, Nancy Stafford doesn't look much different now than she did then. I think she really HAS found the fountain of youth!!! wink.png

I remember liking the Adrienne/Felicia story. It certainly was different, especially for that time period.

Kathy Glass as she appeared on The Doctors.

In 10 years from 1970 - 80 she had 4 contract roles on soaps and that was it.
