Has Retro returned to airing episodes from late 1979 or early 1980? I know they had paused due to their facilities being closed when the lockdowns began last spring.

Retro is still airing episodes from 1968.

Thanks @victoria foxton

I do hope they resume those last few years soon. I was curious to see the final years which seem pretty insane between the writer's strike and the final six months or so when the show embraces all of those "General Hospital" elements.

So am I. Plus, they kept their core vets - Matt, Maggie, Steve and Carolee (as well as Althea once Liz Hubbard rejoined the show in February 1981) - pretty much front and center right to the end. You'd never see that now.

Even though TPTB made boneheaded decisions. Like killing off Missy and Jason. I still want to see things like. Matt and MJ's May/December affair. Maggie's late in life pregnancy. The reintroduction of Billy. In the form of Alec Baldwin. Nola Vs Mona. The reintroduction of Althea. The return of Far wind and his cult etc. The random episodes of the last yrs. I've seen aren't bad.

I'm looking forward to seeing all of those stories (except Matt/MJ...just thinking about that gives me the willies!). I don't know why they got rid of Jason. Maybe Glenn Corbett only signed on for a limited time? As for Missy, I believe Dorian Lopinto chose to leave after her two-year contract was up. She did some guest spots in LA before returning to NYC to play Sam on OLTL. Still, it was a loss for TD as she was one of its most engaging actresses. The chemistry with Frank Telfer was there from their first scene. I'm actually surprised that she didn't become a bigger name in primetime/film.

Are there any episodes from 1963 available? I recently discovered that yet another former teacher of mine appeared on the show and it would be a hoot for me to see her. Her name is Joan Potter and she played Linda Ward Carter in a week-long arc.

Alan Locher, who hosts The Locher Room on YouTube, is once again partnering with Retro TV to bring a third virtual reunion with former cast members from THE DOCTORS. Jada Rowland (ex-Carolee), (James Storm (ex-Michael), Nicholas Walker (ex-Brad) and Kim Zimmer (ex-Nola) will participate in the chat on Friday January 21 at 3 p.m. ET,

Errol you have the right info...per social media. Yes they all were on the program at the same time I hope they discuss Doris Quinlan.

I have to work when this chat is scheduled, but it should be fun to watch later. Hopefully, Jada will have more reign this time. Much as I like Liz Hubbard, I think she ran roughshod over everyone in the last chat.
