I wish they could do something with Cheryl, she just looks grotesque.

I'm glad Glen Wallace got a BSA nomination. Besides being so handsome and charismatic, he's a wonderful actor. I hope they will do a lot with Malachy. For someone who originally only came in as Kris's neanderthal, bigoted brother, he's grown so much.

Based on the fact that Lucy Allan's name remains on the credits suggests to me that Paul Marquess has stuck to type and kept clear of what he doesn't want to be associated with.

Reading between the lines (based on the little we have read), I am suggesting that Paul Marquess will be credited as Producer beginning the week of Calvin/Carmel's wedding.

Hey, I could be totally wrong...

Steph indeed has a story coming up...

I hear she'll get some type of cancer, but probably won't die from it.

:o

I just hope it's not Breast Cancer. So BORING.

Speaking to DS on the red carpet at this year's British Soap Awards, the 34-year-old - who plays Malachy Fisher in the teen serial - confirmed that he has inked a deal with the show's new producer Paul Marquess.

However, teasing Malachy's future, he said: "That I couldn't tell you... There's going to be a lot of repercussions with regards to the Calvin situation."

Apparently the new "bad boy" will be a relative of Cheryl's NOT her boyfriend. She's also very hopeful about Marquess' ideas for the show...

Hollyoaks actress Bronagh Waugh has expressed her excitement for the soap's Christmas storyline and new boss Paul Marquess's vision for the show.

Speaking to Digital Spy on the red carpet at this year's British Soap Awards, the Cheryl Brady actress beamed: "There's some exciting stuff about to happen... [Paul]'s amazing and has the most amazing ideas. I'm so excited about next year. Christmas time is going to be really exciting.

She continued: "He tells wicked stories... with all the characters, there's a beginning, middle and an end of wicked, explosive stories. And it's something you wouldn't expect for Cheryl - and maybe a little bit of Ste as well!"

I almost wonder if they should tell a story where Cheryl has some sort of stroke. Her face often reminds me of Stephanie's on B&B when Stephanie had a stroke.

I'm glad they're keeping Malachy around, he's one of my favorite characters, Glen is such an incredible actor.

Is he still with Mercedes?

And since Marquess is keeping him around, someone who has no family connections, I wonder if the fates will be the same to Archie, Rhys, etc ...

Archie has already been let go.

Rhys, I don't know.

Malachy is still with Mercedes, he's still keeping quiet that he knows she's been sleeping with Calvin for months.

Oops, about Archie. There were so many people, his firing slipt my mind.

I pray Rhys stays around and Marquess realizes how unappreciated Andrew Moss is as an actor.

I find this "Oh look, Des is a hardcore racist" story baffling, and out of nowhere. He has suddenly become a horrible person. I liked him with Jacqui. She never gets a break.

That's sweet, he wants to be on the show for a long time. I hope he gets his wish. I'm sure a lot of people will be amazed if the show's even on in 5 years.
