Affairs have been apart of soaps since as long as I can remember, I started watching soaps in the mid sixties. But I swear to hear some fans talk on the messege boards, a couple that marries after an affair is something new and they are the lowest of the low. Bob & Kim (ATWT) - first had an affair while he was married to her sister, Jennifer Tad & Krystal (AMC) - had an affair while she was married to Adam I know there are others but I can't think of them right now. If the couple is popular, the audience will forgive the affair and want the couple to get together.
