I feel bad, too, pinkflamingo44, but I think Y&R has made the right decision this time around. David Chow just does not belong in GC.

I guess it was obvious to be coming after the reveal that he killed Jill's fiancee. It's too bad, he's a great actor and I enjoyed watching him more than people like Victor and Sabrina.

Correct. We didn't see him do the crime.

I'm still suspecting/hoping it is Jeffrey. Jeff had the room next door, an apparent need for $$, and a Korean connection.

I see this going in the direction of David being falsely accused (he agreed to do the killing, but then found the dead body...but couldn't deny doing the deed because he needed to "take credit" to pay off his gambling debts).

I see David being killed at the end of this...but it will be an "unjust" death because he really loved Nikki, and he didn't do the murder.

Let's hope Jeffrey is gone soon...what a vile, vile man. Gloria needs to be free to pursue other things.

I liked a lot of LML's stories, but hated her writing for David. He was a cardboard character... his job was to hug Nikki and tell her how nice she was. Nothing else. UNTIL now. The gambling/David/Nikki story is the ONE interesting story on Y/R now... it's the only thing moving. The acting is great. The character of David finally got some layers and depth.

So what do they do? Get rid of the one thing that's working (even if it didn't work under LML, it was working under MAB). Go figure.

VI did sign a contract for a year- the longest he'd signed because he lives on the east coast and apparently was reluctant to commit longer due to the commute. I wonder, did they just let him go (cleaning house of the LML characters)? Or did CBS want him to move to his original soap, GL, now that they've lost so many over there? (sinking ship, not sure about that one).

Many seem to want him back on AMC... that show is still a mess, not sure I'd want him back there. His character on that show was best layered and complex... I don't think AMC does layered and complex and hasn't in a number of years. Spare me the cartoon characters... give me layers.

I really wish Y/R would have kept him on.. now that they finally have some depth to the character. But nope, it's going all GH and will probably end up with a mob shooting. :: bangs head against wall ::

MarkH, I like your idea... especially because I like intricate stories with red herrings... things that keep you guessing, but in the end make sense.

I dont' think that's the route they will go, though. Every time I've expected intricate on Y/R, it's turned out simple. Gets disappointing after awhile. :-/ Hope I'm wrong this time.
