Max is a character that I think is necessary on the canvas. He's a big part of OLTL history and has connections to a lot of people on the show. He also has children Frankie and Leslie who could be teens now, the way soaps age kids.

Also, he's the other person who knows David Vickers is the Buchanan heir. Perhaps he could team with Bo and Clint to keep that a secret.

Also believe Kevin, Joey, Kelly and Cassie should be regulars. Had to add that.

Plus, he's another character who fraudulently pretended to be a Buchanan, and he has a close relationship with Renee. I can see them working him into that story a bit. I thought it was odd at the time that Nigel chose to confide in Max, but it never went anywhere.

This is too good to be true. It would be so awesome. And finally! A Gabrielle and Tina (with AE) Redux. OMG. Won't get my hopes up.. But wow.

Well, maybe Gabrielle was going undercover to find the Music Box Killer and someone who looked like her was killed? I don't know... she did have the connection with Bo so maybe she went out to find the killer for Bo but she was also badly burnt in the whole thing (along with NotGabrielle, some other person who posed as her) that she needed to leave town. She met up with Max, recovered, and bam.

I would LOVE for Max to return. But, Gabby was pretty dead the last I saw. And she loved Bo alot, so I can't see her letting him suffer.

I was watching "Soap's Up" it's just this little blurb here when they air OLTL on A-Channel and the woman on there said that there are rumors James DePaiva (Max), real-life husband to Kassie DePaiva (Blair) is returning, now that Blair and Todd are "over"...

...and - could Gabrielle (Fiona Hutchinson) be on his arm?

This might be a long shot, but I wouldn't put it past RC, he's been great at giving us what we want! Holy returns batman!

I guess I'm alone, but I didn't care too much for Max or James DePaiva. I Gabriel though. It was stupid to kill her off and then to do it so brutally.

I'd love to see them back especially Max although I'm almost worried it's too many too soon--maybe wait till end of 2008...

I think they should at least bring Max back for right now. Cassie would also be a much needed addition, especially now that Adrianna is gone and since Dorian is in such a mess. I mean, after all, Cassie IS Dorian's daughter for crying out loud. (IMO, the two NEVER should of left the canvas ANYWAY)

Max and Cassie are the two, IMO, that could be much needed. I'd be fine waiting for the others towards the end of the year when the current storylines wrap.

If they really want FH back, enough water has gone under the bridge that she could be cast as Gabrielle's sister Debra and go forward from there without any hokey swapped souls or back from the grave gambits. What they really need to do the next time a returning villian is needed is to finally spring the fabulous Julia Medina from prison and let her put the screws to Llanview for a while.

Max = okay

Gabrielle = not okay

She was so awful during her last stint that I don't think Ron can redeem her. Max was his awesome self in during Asa's death--he can always come back and be bulletproof.

That said, I don't want OLTL bringing too many back when they have a lot of capable young actors. I don't want Rex and Gigi backburnered when both connect in a unique way with the audience that nostalgic returns could kill.

After thinking about some more, I definitely do not want Gabrielle back on the show. No need for her imho.

As far as Cassie, there have been rumors that ONE LIFE wants Martha Byrne (ex-Lily) and that she would be a Cassie re-cast.

I think I said this on another thread, and no offence to Martha Byrne, but she's too waspy to be Cassie Cramer. Bring back Laura Koffman. I wouldn't mind Martha Byrne as a totally new character, a bad girl would be nice.

I LOVED Julia Medina! I'd love to see her return. Wasn't she connected to Carlo, too?

OLTL has the right idea as far as using the vets and bringing back fan favorites. If only all the other shows would take a cue from them.
