@ChickenNuggetz92 I don't think that music cue was on the 1998 soundtrack.

11.3 AM is my favorite track on the 1998 soundtrack. Whenever that played on the show, we knew something dangerous and forbidden with consequences was about to take place

Haha thanks! The arrangement on this cue was relatively simple compared to the cues that had basically a full blown orchestra, but still takes a bit of time considering I'm horrible at the piano.

Ahh just checked the back cover of the soundtrack, "3 A.M." gives me Grace going after Nick and Tricia kissing Tony vibes!

The one I re-composed was introduced in 2001 during the Raul diabetes storyline, so it wouldn't have been on the 1998 soundtrack.

That’s one of my favorite too lol when exactly did the show start using it? I first remember it being used clearly with Nick and Grace, Tony and Tricia, Diego and Sharon, Gary and Victoria etc lol but then it seems like it was used as early as 1993/94 for Cole and Victoria and Jill and Jed. The last time I recall hearing it was in 2009 with Sharon and Billy I believe.

LOL I think that person may have been myself as I do remember posting the music link instead of the generic song that got played during their initial sex and then was replayed a couple weeks later when Billy tried to convince Phyllis something magical had happened lol. Some of Y&R’s music numbers are just so timeless that 11.3AM should have never been abandoned.

I mean it was interesting to me that I discovered during last year’s classics that Y&R used both Liz’s theme and the Genoa City theme from 1973 well into 1994/1995. The last I heard “Love is Gone” was in June 2011 when Victor served Jack subpoena papers following the notorious ambulance scene.

    • The last scene of the final episode did show that life on Wisteria Lane would continue on once the toxic housewives moved away. It won't be as good as the original, but I'm intrigued to see what these new people do with the concept.
    • This underscores the biggest issue that the show needs to work on.   The majority of the characters on the show are all related to one another, which is why we have that B&B esque Dani/Andre hook up situation

    • It was a good episode. I didn't expect things to unravel so soon.   One thing I still don't like about these big events: Where was everyone else?   This is a big event. Everyone should've been there.
    • Mitch, thanks for that history of the Reardon Boarding House kitchen.  I had always assumed that every time the kitchen set returned, it was a recreation of the original set.  So I have been wrong about that.   Was the kitchen set ever used later, while Buzz and the Coopers owned the boarding house?

    • Do they ever do anything well?  The show is about 4 week story arcs - if that it feels like.  Why wouldn’t you spend a month of subtle hints.  Late to events and don’t telegraph it.  Have repeated issues with time; I had a friend whose Mom suddenly was forgetting half the meal in the fridge to be heated for a meal; twice her husband had to go to her work to get her because she was still working and only noticed no one was there until he walked in to find her and make her come home (it was a doctor’s office, there’s not that kind of job);  knowing she had an appointment and not be worried by it, etc.   No, they have him do a head bonk and bam it’s cancer.     It’s almost an insult.
    • I know that's right Queen.

    • Today showed why almost no one comments on this crap soap. -- We're back to pretending that there aren't SCORES of cosmetics companies out there --  only Jabot and whoever else opens up shop in Genoa City to be the competition. No real business runs this way. -- Marchetti is supposed to be an internationally-renowned fashion house, yet both Chelsea and Sally are ready to walk after being high-level executives there. -- It's not often women leave choice executive positions in their field of expertise to work in a business they're clueless about. -- Sally had a lot of nerve shading Chelsea with "It's easy to see Adam's influence on you" when the same damn thing is happening with Billy. -- I'm glad Lauren told Michael to quit, since we've all been mouthing that for weeks. None of that story is helped by CLB's over-the-top acting. -- The scene with Victoria helping a sick, coughing Cole walk to their car on the way to the hospital was laughable. Wouldn't rich people call a damn ambulance? -- Claire was really concerned, wasn't she? She stayed in the doorway instead of helping her mother, and then headed right to Crimson Lights for coffee. Why bother with checking on her possible terminal father at the hospital?
