Lipstick Jungle

Based on the best-selling book by Candace Bushnell ("Sex and the City"), this sexy new drama follows three high-powered friends as they weather the ups and downs of lives lived at the top of their game.

Movie exec Wendy (Brooke Shields, "Suddenly Susan") does everything she can to balance career and family. Nico (Kim Raver, "24"), editor-in-chief of a hot fashion magazine, has her eye on becoming CEO. And free-spirited designer Victory (Lindsay Price, "Beverly Hills, 90210") longs to make her dreams come true, and maybe find "Mr. Right" along the way.

Armed with humor and strength, these three modern New York women support one another through the triumphs and tears that are all part of making it big in the Big Apple. Also starring are Andrew McCarthy ("Joy Luck Club"), Julian Sands ("24"), David Alan Basche ("United 93"), David Norona ("Frasier"), Paul Blackthorne ("Big Shots"), and Robert Buckley ("Fashion House")

The series is executive produced by Oliver Goldstick ("Ugly Betty"), Timothy Busfield (NBC's "The West Wing") and Bushnell. Based on the book by Bushnell, "Lipstick Jungle" is from Universal Media Studios. The pilot is directed by Gary Winick ("13 Going on 30").

I love it. Did anyone see it last week? I like the chemistry between Raver, Price, and Shields. I have to get a hold of the book.

I hate to say it, I really like this show. I realize the title comes from the title of the book it's inspired from but seriously, "Lipstick Jungle"? *shudder* I feel like an ass when I tell my friends that they HAVE to check out this show.

Haha, I know. Strange title. But another great episode of Thursday. Nico's affair is HOT, haha. I love Lindsey Price's character, Victory. And I think that was Claudia (Nash's ex-girlfriend) who was on last week's episode as the assistant who stole Victory's designs.

I like the show too. It's much better than Big Shots and Cashmere Mafia.

I looove Kim Raver and I want to like this show sa bad, but I'm not convinced yet. I rather watch Cashmere Mafia which I fell in love with during the pilot.

Leven Ramblin (Lily-Ava/AMC) will make a guest star appearance as a character named Chloe Jamisonin on Feb. 28th, Thursday's episode of Lipstick Jungle.

Ok, I fell for this show after all. I watched episode 1.03, 1.04 & 1.05 in one sitting and now I can't wait for the next episode. lol

I love this show, anyone watching? I'm happy it's back for a continuation of Season One. They killed Charles & we find out he got his student knocked up! Wow! Somehow I hope Kirby and Nico get back together.

I'm watching and I'm loving it! I hope Nico and Kirby get back together so bad. But I want it to be a slow process.

Wow, Wendy lost her job over the insurance fraud. Victory and Rodrigo are HOT together! When is Vanessa Marcil appearing on here? I loved seeing James Lesure on the show (Missing Las Vegas sooooo much...)

I know. When I saw James Lesure I just wanted the whole LV-gang to come on in!

Canceled! Unbelievable! This was a GREAT show with excellent acting from Raver, Price, and Shields. I was REALLY getting into this season too! The appearance from Rosanna Arquette was great too. Brooke Shields is telling some people the show isn't canceled, but with the bad ratings and all that we've heard, it's as good as gone. And since NBC went and canceled Las Vegas on me, there is no other shows on NBC worth watching for me, at least for now.

Until we get official confirmation let's just hope Brooke Shields knows what she's talking about.
