Who's going to win? Any plans for the big day?

I will be going to a potluck for the big day where we will be bringing lasagna..yummy! I think I am more happy with the food than the game.

Now, my analysis of the game. It's the Perfect Pats against the underdog Giants. Personally I think that the Pats are getting a little cocky. I would laugh if the Pats lose. I think that the Giants can pull it off. In the last game of the regular season, the Giants almost pulled off a victory. Then they beat the Colts and the Packers. The momentum is with the Giants. I think it will be a close game. 28 to 24 Giants

How are they cocky? From all the clips I've seen, the Pats are giving the Giants respect.

The Giants played one of their best games and they still lost. I just can't see them playing a better game than they did in Week 17. The Giants showed EVERYTHING to the Pats in week 17 and now Bill Bellicheck has two weeks to prepare for them?

I obviously want the Pats to win because I want to see history - I don't think we'll ever see another team go undefeated again.

I'm gonig to say 31-17 for New England.

I'm buying a lot of booze for the Superbowl. There are two events a year that I buy an extreme amount of booze. The Superbowl and the Daytime Emmys. I party more for the Daytime Emmys its scary at times. One year, I woke up passed out in the middle of the floor with Cheetos in my hair and another year, I woke up still wearing my white leather pants with an empty martini glass still in hand. Scary.

I'm definately looking forward to the Superbowl Commercials. Lets keep our eye out for these! :)

Toups, the more I have seen, the more I see that they have been giving the Giants lots of respect. Within 18 hours, kickoff will occur. Who do I think will win? It better be the Pats or else it will be the biggest Super Bowl flop in history. Boston has already planned the parade for Super Tuesday.

Pats 42-20

Well being Australian I will be going for the underdog.

So it is the Giant's for me.

I will have to watch the score from work cuz it will be Monday for me.

In 2006 in the rugby there was one team that was very hard to beat the whole year and they may have only lost 3 games for the year leading up to the finals. In the final's they were the best time by far. The team that they met in the Grand Final was a team that they beat twice during the year. They were red hot favourites, and they lost the game.

So cutting a long story short, one team may have been the best team all year, it's whoever is the best on the day that will win.

Yes we can at certain sporting events.

I love my Aussie Rules and although you may not hear me cuss at work, home or when out with friends I am so different at a football game.

By quarter time I would have cussed not only at each of the umpires, but also at the opposing team and maybe even some of the guy on my on team.

We Aussies are very passionate about our sports.

Here is a link to my teams site.

There are links there that will show you our game.

    • Yes, but the stories are all pretty awful Seeing Victor rehashing his hatred of the Abbotts  when he married one of them and has a daughter that is half Abbott as well as walking around with Traci's daughter's heart keeping him alive makes him look worse than he already is. And I remember he and Jack chatting amicably in the past few years. Victor interfering in Kyle/Claire is just repeat of Billy/Victoria. Sharon, Nick,Phyllis etc are around but again the stories are lacking.
    • I think Kevin's 1996 Emmy was fair enough. He barely appeared for his second. I don't think anyone else on the list is that deserving but I might have gone with Moore as he did try with the whole Keesha AIDS story. @alwaysAMC Thanks to slick jones' cast list I was able to see that Nikki Rene played Tina. Not much on her, as you mentioned. Tap and a few Broadway listings (it doesn't help that a younger actress with a similar name is in a lot of roles). • Thank you. That does ring a bell. I remember Theresa and Julian's drunk, giggly fake wedding (with Julian asking "Whassup?" to the minister). Was Bruce tricking the pair as a prank, or did somebody put him up to it? I especially liked Katherine recalling how dashing young Alistair was when he'd pick up Rachel for dates, and how she wished she could be her sister, then feeling guilty once Rachel had her boating accident ...
    • And Kevin Mambo beat Shemar Moore for those two Emmys. I chalk up the wins to the voters not wanting Jonathan Jackson to eventually end up with a five peat (he won 1995, 1998, 1999). These were the 1996 and 1997 Younger Actor races. 1996: Nathan Fillion, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow 1997: Steve Burton, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow

    • Today's episode was excellent. Clearly it was confrontation day and they didn't disappoint. I'm glad they didn't forget Mona in all of this and gave us an opportunity to see how she's dealing with this. A major highlight for me were the Kat and Martin scenes. Their chemistry is off the charts and I don't understand why we haven't gotten more of this. I love how they take turns calming each other down. They feel really well matched and believable as siblings. Speaking of siblings, they anvils were dropping strong that Kat and Eva are twins but I do wish someone would mention that they are essentially hood twins which might throw people off the scent.  I'm one of the people who enjoyed Joey and the gambling storyline so it was nice to see him again. It was nice to see different characters like Mona and Eva in that element instead of the usual players. When Doug arrived I don't know what hit me but I just see a funeral in his future. He seems so hopeless and has the worst luck. I just can't see him surviving the year at this rate.
    • In fiction there has become an expectation by some that every Black character should represent excellence and perfection. It's not like we are talking about a Tyler Perry show where none of the characters are happy and everyone hates each other with a passion.
    • And on rewatch, I could've done without the unsubtle praising Matt like he was the only one who ever accepted Van as she was...but TPTB and their agendas.  It was totally in character for Vanessa to shut down emotionally until she was alone. While she could be volatile, both she and Henry believed in keeping emotions private.  Thank God it's still Bryan Buffinton in the role for both Henry's and HB's funerals. It just wouldn't have been the same with Ryan Brown, who couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. Roll My Eyes.
