Members Y&RWorldTurner
ATWT: Look for another special episode from ATWT, this time for Valentine's Day. AMC: Several AMC cast members are skittish about their future with the show - with good reason, according to those in the know. GL: Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan) wouldn't reveal the length of his latest GL stay, but tells Digest "I'm back for a while." As for any recent contract talks with the show, the actor says, "I will confirm or deny nothing". OLTL: Given Tobias Truvillion's (Vincent) recent to bump recurring, fans are concerned that Tika Sumpter (Layla) may be next, but an OLTL setsider says there is plenty more story for these two NAACP Image Award nominees. Y&R: Vincent Irizarry's future on Y&R isn't looking too bright, suggests an insider.
Members Soapsuds
I hate these special episodes. They ruin the flow of the show and the ratings are always bad for them. So why do them??
Members AddictedToSoaps
There was nothing that special about their Christmas episode, I don't really get why they're doing yet another one. Oh, I didn't know that. Doesn't surprise me though. Ohh lord.
Members Khan
Lemme guess: this time, we're going back to the Wild West. *cough*AidanAmandaAmbyrColinMelissaSydneyChrishell*cough* Just more fodder for the "LML is Out!" rumors.
Members EricaKane70
Well duh does any new character ever survive being involved in a nikki and victor storyline. I hope amc brings david home where he belongs. If you aren't kendall and greenme and work for fusion your days are numbered. Aidan should of been gone years ago. I think if sydney is paired with Frankie and it works she might have a shot at staying otherwise shes gone as well. I think josh may or may not be gone. An I don't think Colby is going anywhere, she has major chemistry with dre but if Robin christopher comes back to amc she might be in trouble. Members Gray Bunny
I don't mind special shows (unless their weekly specials like GL's "Inside the Light"). People bitch and moan about the storylines all the time, why not just enjoy one episode that shows the actors/characters in a different way? Members Soapsuds
Tim...because it does nothing to move the current storylines along. I have hated all the special shows they have had. Enough of these shows!!!

Members P.J.
Rumor has it it's another fantasy-type episode. I suppose it's easier for the scabs to write. I don't want to hate the idea immediately, but I do. I just find them completely unnecessary. I don't mind single-focus eppys, like the one about Em's hookerdom, even though those can be just as disruptive to the flow of the show. But more fantasy? *groan* With my luck, the Valentine's Day eppy will have a blissfully happy Jack married to Katie, raising a flock of bunnies, while Carly's a-mouldering in her grave. *rme*
Members dragonflies
I don't mind them, it's a change of pace, I LOVED the Christmas episode. I think shows need to try something different every so often, as long as it's only a few times a year
Members tina m
I'm really upset to hear about TT's bumping status. They could do so much with the character of Vincent, perhaps a connection to RJ.
Members Cheyenne
I so agree with you. If there's no family moments during the holidays then people whine. When they do special episodes people whine. Give it a rest already.
Members Khan
Well, I, for one, never look forward to special episodes and the like. I just want good, solid, consistent soap opera, you know?
Members applcin
I like Vincent, especially since the boxing story ended. I even like Sean. Was never crazy about Layla, though. And I wish they'd remember that Vincent and Natalie are good friends. Wasn't there a hint of a possible past run-in with RJ when Vincent was first introduced?
