Lets discuss Andrea, the moore talented character actress twinsister of Deidre.

Why has she stopped acting for, being an school teacher?, i have never understood such a thing, the tiny little piece of role she had on Days of our lives as Hattie on 2000,2001 was a real great deal, even if they never worked the role as it where supposed to be.

Never have understood why Deidre is the big star of the show, when if the would go for a more funnier greater actress i think twinsister Andrea should become the real star, why cant if Andrea would be ok, right a storyline for Samantha, maybe she never died, Stefano has died ten times and he is till alive,right. Many people want Deidre in a big storyline, for her to find that her meaner twin is alive, that would mean an big story. Maybe Sam can terrorize her, that would be real fun.

Dee > Andrea. that simple.

Very simple.

I love Ann, I'd rather have her on the show than most people that are on it right now, but a) those scenes were directed by Deidre (and you could tell when she did the role three years later), her passion lies in teaching, she should do what her passion is. Plus, I preferred Samantha to her Hattie, I preferred Deidre's Hattie to both of those roles. Dee's Hattie was just hilarious like nothing I've ever seen.

Comparing Dee to Andrea is like comparing Picasso to Color By Numbers.

While Andrea is talented and more than capable of holding her own in the field of acting, Dee has the fire inside her that makes her the everywoman that viewers have come to love over the years. Subtle, heartbreaking, humorous, she's riveting in every scene she does, and this was cemented in the scenes during John's death.

Honestly, as much as I HATE to admit this, Deidre needs to be the star of the show.

I know we never got to see her too often playing a mentally stable person, and she was great nonetheless as a stable Sam(and it was good she got redemption!) I don't think she could be the prime heroine of the show. IMO, Andrea plays someone emotionally unstable better than she would a very sane woman like Deidre.

However I always preferred Sam to Hattie, because for one Hattie was nothing but a cardboard cut out of Sam, but also Andrea had to wear that horrid golden suit that made her look fat LOL. Though it was sensible.

Believe me as many know I LOVE and ADORE Andrea, but I can't see her being the center of the show as Marlena is.

Deidre's the best actor pure and simple. Anyone who says different just doesn't like Deidre or doesn't know what good acting is!
